Astrology and Writing

I have looked in and did some google searching of writers and what in the natal chart could point at writing ability or an interest in writing.
Obviously I like to write. I have written a number of stores/novels since I was twelve years old. ( I have some still and others are lost ). I also like to blog, but when I blog, my writing can become choppy because I write quick.
I have Mercury-Mars trine ( in fire ) and I often think faster than what I type or talk. Sometimes my mind races and I have all these ideas, but I often have problems putting them down on paper. My fifth house falls in the sign of Cancer, which means that writing is a hobby of mine and I express myself better in writing than in speech. ( It’s the truth! ) I have also a Mercury opposed Jupiter, which does indicate a writing ability, but mostly in the realm of adventure stories. Mercury-Jupiter can also indicate a lacking of seeing the details and the writing may lack depth, or the other way it can manifest is the writing can be either too detailed or too vague. I’ve had people tell me both before. In research papers, I’ve had a professor tell me one part of the essay was too vague and then another was too detailed! In the stories I write I find that to be the case sometimes.
Here is what I think in MY chart helps writing ability/interest in writing:
Sagittarius Mercury in the 9th house
Gemini Jupiter in the 3rd house
Mercury conj MC
Mercury trine Mars
Mercury opposed Jupiter
Cancer in the 5th house

When looking at writing, you must first look at Mercury. Any Mercury sign can be good at writing, but the Water Mercury signs ( Scorpio, Pisces and Cancer ) are often the best at writing depth and expressing with the most emotion. My  best friend loves to write and she has Scorpio Mercury in the 10th house; she is very detail oriented and her writing has a great depth and emotional flair. When she writes, the picture is in your mind! Mercuries in Fire are often enthusiastic and funny in writing, but may lack depth or the patience to follow through. Fire Mercuries, esp Sagittarius, are primarily concerned with adventure stories. An Aries Mercury may prefer to write short stories. Mercuries in Earth are precise, logical, and to the point in writing, but may be dry. Writing is best for science or research. Mercuries in Air are good at any form of communication and writing is eloquent and flows well. They can be logical and can make a dry subject seem interesting.
Mercuries in Virgo and/or Gemini are a good sign to have writing ability, because Mercury rules those signs.
Mercury in the 3rd house or 9th house can indicate writing ability. Mercury in the 10th house can indicate a career that involves writing.
Mercury in the 5th house can of course show someone who loves to write. It’s a good indicator of someone who has a hobby of writing.
The ruler of the 3rd house falling into the 5th house is a possibility. That means if Sagittarius is in your 3rd house and then your Jupiter ( its ruling planet ) is in your 5th house.
Aspects to Mercury…. Uranus, Neptune, Jupiter, Moon
Mercury in the 1st house… easy for one to communicate, either vocally or in writing.
Any other ideas?
Do you like to write? If so what are some of your placements?

Little Kidz: Pisces moon

Disclaimer: This post is solely based upon the Moon sign. When you read this whether it’s about yourself, your child, or sibling, you will find some to be true and others. That is because I am talking about possible manifestations. Also, it doesn’t take into consideration the rest of the chart, but especially moon placement and aspects.
Enjoy :-)
This is my last one of the “Little Kidz” series.

A Pisces moon child is sweet and caring, at least most of the time. They are very sensitive and get their feelings hurt easily, even if they don’t show it all the time. There is a soft spot inside of them; they care deeply about other people ( that is, until they realize people suck ) and animals ( but mostly animals ). Pisces moon children like to help other children, whether its with school work, cleaning, chores, or simply helping them with a task. This can be similar to the Virgo-ness of a person, but a Pisces does it because they genuinely want to. Not saying a Virgo doesn’t or anything!
Sometimes other kids take advantage of the good naturedness of the Pisces moon children. You may want to watch out for the child if they get bullied, or if another kid takes advantage of the Pisces moon’s kindness. If the Pisces moon is insecure, then it is possible for the child to be a bully himself/herself!
There may be deep rooted insecurities and possible depression, at least in the teen years. But not always. The Pisces moon child is sensitive and gets their feelings hurt, and they like approval from others, but not in the same way Leo moon wants praise and adoration.
Pisces moon children are fond of music and art, or writing, or anything that allows them to release self expression. If they are not good at art, then they certainly love music and/or art.
Pisces moon children can pick up when you are not feeling quite right. They know when something is wrong. They are good listeners.
On the downside, we can see neediness, lack of confidence in some areas, depression, anxiety, restlessness, and a melancholy nature to name a few examples. When the child gets older and enters the teen years, if the moon is afflicted to Neptune or in aspect to Neptune, there could be a tendency to “escape” from everyday life. This could simply be either daydreaming too much, or wallowing in the partying, drug and alcohol lifestyle. There is a gray area, of course.
Pisces moon children have active imaginations and they are creative, whether it be music, art, writing, or poetry. They may like to draw. They like to daydream, but they must set dreams into motion!
A Pisces moon child needs a lot of emotional support, especially when they are feeling down. But when they are feeling up, the support helps keep them grounded. They need someone to be sensitive towards their needs, goals, and wants. They do not want rejection or to be made fun of, but no one does. But these kids especially are scared of criticism, at least till they get older and can learn confidence. They need you to believe in them!

Little Kidz: Aquarius Moon

Disclaimer: This is just based on the Moon sign. You may find that some things I write here apply to you and others do not. That is because we are not looking at entire chart.
Enjoy :-)

An Aquarius moon child is simply unique, perhaps his or her mother made the child out to be “special” as he or she grew up. The child grows up feeling different from everyone else, but they like it! An Aquarius moon child often feels like they are the outsiders, looking in from a 3rd perspective.
You will be surprised at their spoken truth, but it’s not necessarily the same way as an overly blunt, blabber mouth Sagittarius. It’s more like the truth they speak is clear, concise and seems almost adult-like. These children grow up liking science and/or math, or anything that involves innovation and creation. This could range from a space or dinosaur interest to music or art, depending on the kid and the rest of the chart.
These children love to learn; they seek to understand something. Learning comes easily to them, but some of these children may be talkative and do not concentrate well.
An Aquarius moon child can be either an introvert or an extrovert, depending on the rest of the chart. Aquarius is ruled by both Uranus ( can go either way ) and Saturn ( which can be more introverted ).
The child may feel weird sometimes, or may be into things that are considered “weird” for the age range. He/she could be a loner who has all sorts of intriguing interests, or a friendly, yet intellectual kid who hangs out with everyone.
An Aquarius moon child is interested in what is fair and just in society. They may not think things in society are right and will ask you questions why the world is not the way it is supposed to be. They are typically idealists and will grow to be either more realistic or a balance as they grow older.
Aquarius moon children typically enjoy being with other kids, but tire of them quickly and need their space to re-energize, especially if they are naturally introverted.
They need learning and social support from parents and adults in their hobbies and talents. Even if you think its something weird! They need their space and they don’t like being told what to do. Often the child thinks they know more than you. An Aquarius moon child needs freedom; its important to give them choices. A stimulating home environment is a necessity.
