Solar Return 2012-2013

So, this is kind of late.

My birthday ( 24 ) was on 29 November. I have just been busy, but anyway I like to look at my solar return and see what may happen. Last year I did this and my “predictions” about the themes of the year were pretty right.

I got the good grades and there was a lot of short term travel! ( 3H emphasis last year ). And planets in the 2nd house had a buying spree and a decent amount of money, although now I do not have as much.

1. the first thing I notice is that my SR Sun falls into my SR 12th house. This overlaps with my natal 9H. The sun is one of the most important parts of a solar return chart; the sun is the main theme of the year. It is a general theme, nonetheless, but still a big theme. The sun is the essence of us, and the 12th house represents the quietness, spirituality, the unknown, depression, mental disorders, prisons, tranquility, peace, sleep and dreams, and a more “spiritual” service to others ( different from the 6th house ). This service is helping people with no benefit to you.

Sometimes a placement like this could just signify a more introverted and quiet, reflective year. The person may want to be behind the scenes or what not. It could be a more melancholy year, too, with a lot of reflection. Maybe there is a spiritual awakening, or there is service to humanity and the planet for a greater good?

Or the person is depressed and anxious and goes to the psychiatrist.

I’m guessing based on my history it will be a little of both. Sometimes I have low self esteem and get sad and melancholy, but I often hid it. It may be a quieter, reflective year for me.

This all falls into my 9H ( natal ). The 9H represents organized religion, higher education, philosophy, politics, travel and your world view. I will graduate in 2013.

2. My SR moon ( which is in Gemini ) indicates a love of learning, traveling ( short term ), short adventures, and variety. There is a need for me to socialize and be with friends, and a need to learn and communicate.

this falls into my SR 7th house. There may be a need to be in a relationship and commitment, but in Gemini this is kind of confusing as Gemini is a dual sign and is repped to not like commitment? Oh noo i like commitment, but hopefully there isn’t a lot of small bickering and superficial parts to my relationship.

What I think of is my relationship may lack the depth. It has depth, but maybe our focus may be on superficial things for a short time, like attractions, and communication is sweet nothings.

EIther way, relationship is a big focus.

Falls into my natal 4H… feel at home in relationship? Changes within the home with my relationship? Relationship changes because of the home?

3. SR Mercury ( Scorpio ) in SR 11H, falling into natal 9H.

In depth learning, falling into the house of friends and networks. May be professional meetings where learning is key. Do go to those. Falls into the 9H, which indicates association with my higher education and degree requirements.

Makes sense.

4. SR Venus in SR 11H, falling into natal 8H.

Venus may bring “good luck” with friends and acquaintances, which may turn into good and deeper friends?

8H also has to do with inheritance from death, but I do not know how the 11th house SR VENUS would have anything to do with inheritance.

5. Solar Return Mars in SR 1st house, falling into my Natal 11th house.

I could get really irritable this year with Mars there. Interesting to see that I will be on the go and driving a lot like last year.

This falls into my natal 11th house… meeting new friends and joining new organizations, being a “part” of something?

6. SR Jupiter in SR 6H, falling onto natal IC.

SR Jupiter in SR 6H may indicate good health and good job prospects, but may also indicate abuse of one’s heath and overindulging. I doubt I will do the latter, as I know the importance of nutrition. I see this as a good thing for the year. This may just manifest in a steady job and less colds.

on the IC, may mean i need a job or will find a job that makes me feel at home. A job I need. One I am lucky to get. Or I may have to move for a job.

7. This one scares me. SR Uranus in the SR 4H, falling into my natal Asc.

This can indicate a disruptive home life, or someone who is constantly moving without a real home. This scares me because I have to finish up my degree away from home, and I already feel the fear of an unsteady and unknown home.

I have to stay at my sisters a few times a week, which means I will be away/absent from my home a lot.

In the 1st house, this could have a profound impact on my personality.

8. SR Pluto in SR 1st house, falling into natal 11th house.

Changes in outward appearance and personality. Something happens and it could change me.

9. SR Neptune in 3rd house, falling into natal Asc.

An interest in writing may come back. Creative streak. Creative communication. Fuzzy communication. Lack of communication. What I mean may be miscommunicated by other people.

In 1st house, the way I communicate may be fuzzy to others and may not understand me. Will need to work on that.

I think the biggest thing for the year are these:

1. Need a sense of self esteem and worth, or else may fall into depression Will be a quiet and reflective year.

2. Home life may not be normal, but it will be temporary.

3. See if the relationship succeeds with off-ish home situation.

4. Relationship is important.

Little Kids: Scorpio Moon

Disclaimer: Read others ( Little Kidz Moon series ) A Scorpio Moon child is often quiet and unassuming, but their mind is far from quiet. It is also possible that you may feel they see right through you. If you were a Scorpio moon child, then you may have known all the secrets of others, and have known when adults were lying to you.

A Scorpio Moon child knows when you are lying to them, and you may feel they see right through you- all your flaws and what not. You may or may not like this, depending on your personality.

Scorpio moon children can get emotional at times, or completely hold in all their emotions and let it explode in an extreme and inappropriate way. There may be temper tantrums, especially when they do not get their own way.

It is likely they are shy with new people, and are slow to open up. But when they do open up, it means they trust you and you best not tell others their secrets.

There is a penetrating insight on the world and on people. These children will be blunt with the truth, as they can see deeply, and have a keen understanding of humankind.

They are great friends. They are loyal and true, but if they sense a fake friend, they may break off all ties, or completely stop talking to the friend. Scorpio moon children and adults hate fake people.

On the downside, there may be a jealousy streak. The jealousy may depend on house, where the moon is at. A 2nd house Scorpio moon may be greedy and get jealous over sibling or friend’s possessions, and Christmas is their favorite holiday. A 7H Scorpio moon may be jealous over relationships and friendships, and people. Jealousy may be expected of spoiled children and should be outgrown.

Being a Leo moon..

I think most of us understand our charts and how they play into our personality. In my own personality, which has developed with the help of environment, maturity, and life experiences, I think I am still the same core person I always have been, and always will. I think most people will find that to be true with themselves as well. I see the chart as a patchwork of our personality; placements are all relevant, although some more important than others. And importance is not the “sun is always important and Saturn is not important, because its orbit is longer” or whatever. Importance of these things are individualized. Anyway, that being said, I can see placements in my personality. They all play out, although some play out more than others. But they still all play a role in who I am. My Leo moon, for example, I think has been the same core person. Leo Moon combined with my Asc, sun, and Mars. However, I have felt some influences during some times of my life more than others. There are times when I am more irritable than others ( I have natally Mars-Uranus square, and tend to get even more annoyed at daily life when there is Mars-Uranus transits in my life… Like right now ). Or like when I had a Pluto-Mars transit going on when I was anorexic and running a few miles a day, and towards the end of the transit when I lost my virginity. But that Leo moon of mine is not exactly apparent when you first meet me. If you don’t know me, you will probably think I am “too quiet” or in some people’s eyes “snobby.” Some people assume I am mean. If they get to know me a little more and catch me at a bad moment, then they will really think I am mean ( Mars in Aries, 1st house, and square Uranus in the 10H ). But I think when people get to know me really, they will see everything. Well not 100% everything, but a lot more. I have always wondered why I like to go shopping. I always have. You can say it’s a girl thing, but some girls really don’t like to shop as much as is expected. I really think my love of shopping is associated with my Leo moon. I do not have Venus-Jupiter aspects, but I do have Venus-Saturn and Venus-Pluto. Sorry for the rant… I was bad today at the mall.

Little kidz: Libra Moon

Disclaimer: This is just how these can be manifested. Does not take into consideration Moon aspects and house placement, as well as the whole chart. You may find that some of these hold true, while others are a little off. Or you may know two people with this placement, and some is true for one and others are true for the second person.

The Libra Moon child wants to be liked. He/she needs to be liked. As a child, they are cooperative, sociable, and popular. Even if they are the quiet types ( like with a Pisces rising or Virgo rising ), there is an innate need to “fit in” and you will find that despite their quiet demeanor, they are still popular. At least at children. Things can often change during the teen years.

Libra moon children strive for balance in their lives. While they are social children, they strive for fairness in all they can do and can be quite intellectual. They are the children who can see the two sides to the coin, and can be good at debate. They are not children to rip another child apart; there is tact and diplomacy and they do not make you feel stupid if you are wrong.
There is also a need to be “pretty” or “handsome.” They need to be stylish and well dressed. Just make sure this does not become in excess.

Emotionally, they need fairness and justice; what is right should be right. But t hey will learn things are not always fair. Sometimes a Libra Moon child may think in ways that are impartial, or not emotionally tied with other people. Sometimes they can be superficial. They are far from insensitive though. There is a sensitivity, but it is carried with a level head.

You will not see temper tantrums as much, but they will be there as with any kid. Anger is messy and when they DO get angry, all hell will raise loose.

There is a creative streak… possibly good at music and/or art. Or at least they LIKE those things, or THINK they are good at those things. Music interests are prominent, even if its just the boy band you think is annoying. Girls may have a tendency to be “boy crazy” or into their looks, or maybe not.
These children are idealistic.

Summer is over!

Somehow the end of summer crept up wayyyy too fast. All I did was work, and on my two days off a week I just wanted to relax and have some fun. And now I’m back at schoolandworking part time, and I’m feeling stressed about finding a balance between work, school, and life.

I am sorry for not blogging, but I will try to get some ideas up soon. It just gets way too busy for me sometimes. I am never on Yahoo Answers. I maybe answer one question a month if I get really bored. I guess it’s a good thing, though. I have a life enough of the time where I don’t have to go on there for my own amusement.

School is back in session. I hope I do as well academically as I did last semester. ( Solar Return this year had some good third house placements. Solar return still counts through the end of November, which is most of the semester!!!! )

I am not sure if I have time to answer any private e-mails. You can write them if you want, but I can not promise if I will get to them right away. Or if I can get to them at all. Trust me, I have nothing wrong with answering questions AT ALL. I just get busy and sometimes the e-mails have to come last. If I can get to them sometime, then that’s great.

Little Kidz: Virgo Moon

Disclaimer: This is only talking about the Moon sign. Obviously the whole chart needs to be taken into consideration, but you will probably find these general ideas to be truth to your child, to yourself, or to someone you know. And these are only WAYS this can manifest. Some may apply to you, others will not. Depends on the rest of the chart.

Enjoy :-)

The Virgo moon child is meticulous, patient, and good with words, both verbally and in written form. It’s likely you saw him or her trying to use “big” words as a child. They like to know their vocabulary, what the word means and how they can use it.They may or may not be neat. Some are going to be super neat, freaking out if something is out of place. Other Virgo moon children are going to be as messy as a Sagittarius or Pisces.

She likes to be considered smart. In a book smart sense. She may have been titled the “Walking Encyclopedia” growing up. She possibly had an interest in the sciences, but mostly for concrete value. Most of all, she loves to learn and expand her knowledge. There are, however, perfectionist tendencies you must watch out for. If her Moon falls into the 6H, you will either want to watch out for either obesity or anorexia nervosa. Body image issues.

Sometimes it may seem he likes to do well in school only because he wants the best grades. He’s great at memorizing material and he wants to do the best in his class. He may be an honor roll student or getting straight A’s, and you must remind him that a B every now and again is fine.

She is highly sensitive but she does not show it. She is shy and stoic, but has great feeling for animals. Cats may interest her. She is embarrassed if she ever has to show emotion. Emotions are messy for the Virgo moon. Virgo moons do not like anything messy.

He is not against abandoning junk food if you give him practical reasons of why he needs to be healthy. Most children do not understand, but he will. You never have to haggle him to brush his teeth or eat his veggies, because he already does. He picks up on a healthy lifestyle at a young age. He also understands the importance of hygiene once you allow him to understand the practical value of it.

You may not be organized yourself, but you will notice that your Virgo moon child or little sibling is organized herself. She may like to organize her room in a neat fashion, or organize clothes in a color coordinated fashion. There is a system to everything in her life, especially in her room, where toys may be organized by size or function.

He has an attention to detail. You could be in an argument with him and he won’t let go of a petty minor detail. Sometimes he has a hard time seeing the “big picture” and refuses to see anything out of black and white, concrete terms. On the positive side, he sees the details no one else notices and can use this to help people. Once he gets older, he may be able to pick up the minor details and tie it together into the big picture.

There is an innocence about her that is hard to miss. While other little kids are getting in trouble, she always makes sure she is following the rules, but that doesn’t mean she is an unthinking robot. She follows rules when they mean safety and practicality.

He may not be into glamorous toys. He may want toys that help prepare him for service or a role, or that helps him learn something. If you do not have enough money to get him something, he understands and will not press you.

Saturn in the 11th house: Yes, who you hang out with DOES matter

Growing up with Saturn in the 11th house has brought both challenges and benefits in my life. I was also born in a lower income socieo bracket, so the places and locations I’ve grown up in has not always been ideal.

Challenges in my life:
- I find it hard to “network” with people in my major and other dietitians. I love talking to my professors and asking them questions about the field, but I hold back in class. Often I send e-mails. I’m somewhat shy, but I can handle social situations with grace when properly prepared. It’s like I want to get a job, work in my field, and then go home and live my life. I feel weird about belonging to a group. Becoming one of the group. ( Combined with Aquarius rising, but my major fits in with Cancer on the 6H cusp and Moon in the 6H )

- I’ve always been an introvert a loner, and have preferred to hang out all by myself. I do not like large groups of people. I’ll make myself smile to someone if they smile at me first, or if they say “hey” I’ll be polite and say “hey” back. However, if you look like a loser and look like you are no good, I don’t speak back.

One thing I’ve always believed in, especially growing up in a poor area, is that the people you hang out with ( yes, even in high school ) determine how you are seen and even your success later on in life. Growing up I was aware of the challenges that would meet me trying to get to a place I want to be. I knew college was expensive and I was afraid I was not able to go, even though I am a smart and competent person.

I think a lot of people born into poverty are poor because of the people they hang out with, the culture poverty brings, and the overall environment. I did grow up with supportive grandparents who were college educated and wanted me to be successful, since my mother failed. ( I am not saying people are not poor because of the rich and powerful wanting to control everything and choosing not to create GOOD jobs. That’s half the problem, but that’s NOT what I am discussing today. Half of the poverty problem is society, but the other half is the individual himself/herself. You can CHOOSE not to get knocked up. Educate yourself. You can CHOOSE not to go down a road of violence and crime. You can CHOOSE not to spend all your Burger King money on cocaine. The list can go on ).

I like to live a life that ishealthy, balanced, and active.Which means I like to eat good ( although I will eat fast food, or splurge every now and again ) and I exercise. I want people in my life that arenon-toxic.

A person with Saturn in the 11th house is probably an introvert. He or she probably doesn’t have a lot of friends, but they do take friendship seriously.Another important factor of Saturn in the 11th house is that friends can make or break your success.I have not personally read this in any astrology texts or websites, but that is HOW the Saturn in the 11th house person sees friendship. They need friends that make them look competent. Of course they care about emotional commitments and loyalty of friends, but the other is just as important.

OK.If you’re trying to get somewhere in life, it’s important to have friends and a network of people supporting you, whether it be teachers, acquaintances and people you see in general. Co workers also count. This counts for everyone regardless of social class you were born in, but it is CRUCIAL for those born poor.( I define “poor” as someone who grew up on a family below federal poverty line and had parents getting assistance fro the government. ) If you hang out with a gang, then you are probably not going to get your Ph.D. that you once wanted when you were 16. I’m just telling the truth. Bold and clear.

If the network of people you are with does not support you and gets you to do things that are illegal, unhealthy, and/or morally wrong, then you are probably not going to get anywhere in life. Yes, success is subjective. And I’m not saying that someone who went down the wrong path can not find success later in life if they just clean up. It will just be harder and they will need to seek help. They also need to hang out with different people. People who care about their futures, health, and emotional and financial well-being.

In poor areas, it’s easy to not do well in school because it’s seen as “uncool”. People also may not believe in you, or may tell you that you will never go to college. Also, not everyone has to go to college either. Not everyone is actually academically inclined. If that is the case, do the best in school that you can and find a niche you’re good at. Automotive, retail/sales, child care, and associates degrees in health care and business fields can help get someone from a modest background get on their feet. These can be at vocational schools during last two years of high school and/or community colleges.

I spent my adolescence in a trailer park. Mainly included hicks who thought they were straight out of the ghetto. Hilarious, really. Most of kids at my trailer park did not graduate high school. I knew that the kids there were not good for me to hang out with, so I picked my friends wisely. I’m a quiet and introverted person, so I do not make friends casually and freely. I select friends that I want to build something on and go from there.

Once I started getting older, all of this became more aware to me. I knew that a lot of the kids I grew up with were losers. I was also thought of as a “snob” there but I am quite a polite person most of the time. I also knew I wanted to get somewhere someday. And being with those people wasn’t going to get me there.

If you’re with supportive people, you can get somewhere. It doesn’t make you snobby. You do not want to hang out with the wrong crowd. That is why my mother did not succeed in life and I always told myself I would not be her.

End note:Who you hang out with matters, whether you like it or not. I think it’s better to be a loner than hang out with the wrong crowd. People are an important to your success, though. This includes the support of parents, friends, other family members, strangers, employers, acquaintances, networks, instructors, etc etc. If you do not have the support, then it will be very difficult for you to get where you want to be. If you do not have family to support you, then make friends who will.

You want your friends to make you look like you are competent and worth hiring. So it’s not cool to hang out with a bunch of guys who are smoking around and wearing pants falling down if you’re applying to a job that makes 3X more than what you are making now.
/End rant

Little Kidz: Leo moon

Disclaimer: I am going to switch paragraphs between boys and girls, but this could apply to anyone. Also, these are only WAYS this placement can manifest. Not all Leo moon children will display all these characteristics.

I am a Leo moon person, so I might be biased. LOL…j/k, but I know first hand what it’s like to be a Leo moon child.

Obviously, this needs to be taken into account a child is more than their sun and moon sign too. So these are generalized.

The Leo moon childis not necessarily a loud child, but they can be. It’s possible he is shy and quiet at school, but is a loud mouth at home. However, it is also possible that shes outgoing, bubbly, and loves to be the center of attention. Whether or not they’re outgoing or shy, there is a need for recognition
 and attention.

He needs a lot of love in this world. Sometimes there is a need to feel “special’ or “one of a kind.” It’s best to praise him when he does well and remind him of what he is good at. However, if he gets cocky, it’s unwise to “remind” him to be humble, but allow him to grow out of it and let him know that other people might get hurt by his actions.

She likes attention. It is possible she whined and cried a lot as a baby, but it doesn’t mean it will stop as she gets older. There may be temper tantrums in a store. She can be materialistic and it is likely she has a long list of things she wants from Santa. She wants what she wants and will throw a fit to get it. However, in this case, it’s wise to get her what she wants when she DESERVES it and when she’s bad, punishment should follow. Leo moon children need to know the right ways to behave and that they can’t get everything they want.

He can be a braggart. When he does something well, he wants his parents and siblings to know it.
Other people, even the parents, might get annoyed by this, but he likes recognition. He can be quite creative as well.Creativity must be expressed in a good outlet, like writing, theatre, music, or even scientific endeavors. It’s fine to brag sometimes, but not all the time.

She likes to play dress up and put on shows for her friends and family. She likes to be the center of attention.. AT LEAST when she is performing. She likes to have fun and play with her friends. She is quite popular and likeable, even if she has a fiery streak.

He has a generous nature and is fun loving. He is the child who is fine giving an extra quarter to the other child in the lunch line. He likes to feel noble and kind.

She likes to tell stories and sometimes she will exaggerate what is truth and what is not. That is why story telling is a good way for a creativity outlet. Writing stories or even telling fictional stories is a great way for her imagination to run wild.

He likes to do a job well done. Even if he is NOT a braggart, he likes recognition and works hard for it. He likes to be proud of what he does.

She may have a pride streak. She may not always like to admit she is wrong or apologize when she is bad. She also could be vain and into her appearance. She likes to be treated like a princess. She also probably likes fluffy cats.

Little Kidz: Cancer Moon

The Cancer moon child is soft and quiet, at least on the inside. They are sensitive to external stimuli and it’s easy to hurt their feelings. Depending on the rest of the personality ( like the Asc ), they may show a cold outer shell or be completely outwardly emotional about these things.

Even if he’s not a quiet person, like a Leo rising, he still has a soft, sweet side on the inside. At home, he loves his mother a lot, even if he gets angry with her from time to time, and enjoys helping her. He appreciates her for everything she does.

She likes to nurture. From an early age, she may want dolls or stuffed animals to “pretend” to take care of. A “feminine” role is one she doesn’t take offense to, but this mostly depends on other factors of the chart. She may say she wants to be a “mommy” or a “nurse” or anything related to care taking when she grows up. She loves small children.

He gets his feelings hurt easily, whether he shows them or not. It’s not uncommon for a temper tantrum or a crying fit if he doesn’t get what he wants, or if someone hurts his feelings. He is quite sensitive and may get his feelings hurt from what kids at school say about him. He can get defensive if you tell him he is doing something wrong.

She may like animals, taking care of them or playing with them. She is an introvert and enjoys being with animals more than she enjoys being with people. People upset her and at least animals can’t hurt her. Or tell her they don;t like her.

He is very family oriented. He enjoys being with his family and playing with his cousins. As he grows older, not one friend is more important than family. Blood always runs thicker than water. With friends, he is loyal to the end, unless someone does something unforgivable.

She may like sweets and may be prone to overeating if not careful. Important to stress healthy eating and healthful cooking. there may be a tendency to eat when feeling emotional, or not eat at all if there is a lot of anxiety. Food issues will need to be addressed but unlikely she will be a picky eater. She may even want to help in the kitchen, but is more interested in the baking aspect than cooking aspect.

Comfort is key. He may enjoy sitting back and watching TV, or playing a familiar game than playing outside and meeting new kids. ( Although the latter is true from time to time too! ) Hanging out with family members and doing things is always a plus too! He doesn’t like being pushed out of his comfort zone and if he is, prepare for him to be overly cautious and shy.

DISCLAIMER: I switched paragraphs between girls and boys, but this could be either girl or boy. Also, this is only ways it could manifest.

Pluto in Capricorn: Women's Rights and Contraception

So far during Pluto in Capricorn, a Democrat won office in November of 2008 which was the beginning of a new ear. Obama promised change when he was running for office four years ago. Republicans absolutely could not stand having a Dem in office so everyone went out and elected a Republican congress in 2010. Since then, there have been more talks of cutting social and education programs and even more anti-abortion legislation.

Abortion is legal. It is fine to not like it. No one likes abortion. Don't believe in it? Don't do it. Mind your own business.

A lot of people cite religion. Although I think some of these people truly are religious, I think most of these legislators are "Anti-Woman." They want to reverse women into pre-feminism days. Days when a woman was barefoot and pregnant, popped out some every other year, and sometimes would die from complications. Keeping low income women pregnant keeps them out of the work force and more dependent on the State. It keeps them from entering higher ed and from having a real job someday. I think that is the one BIGGEST thing from low income women from succeeding. Men have it easier and harder at the same time, but I am not getting into that. "It is a woman's place to be at the home and take care of the kids."

Many of these people do not care for the babies when they are born. They care about the fertilized egg more than they do a Pre-Schooler. It's not about the kids. At least for most of them. It's about controlling women. Keeping them down. Reversing them into a previous state.

Obviously you can have a baby and have a full time career, but it's exhausting to do esp if you are breastfeeding. There is nothing wrong with motherhood, but why force motherhood on a young women who may not be ready for it or does not want children t at all?

Contraception is to prevent pregnancy but other reasons too. For a girl from a low income family, this can be an asset since I believe that when a poor woman has a baby it sets her back. It makes it extremely difficult to move forward. A girl from a middle class family at least has more support and a family with a larger income to help her. Her family isn't going to be happy about the pregnancy, but it will be easier for her to transition from motherhood to school or work. Being a mom isn't easy for anyone, but if you have more money or from a family with more money, there is one less stress off your shoulder.

Some people say "I don't want to pay for them to have sex." If a poor woman is on Medicaid and she can get contraception, it's better to pay for that than pay for an entire pregnancy and a new human being when it's born. Much better for her to be on contraception and have her finish a vocational or community college setting or even better a 4-year degree. That way, she has a chance of being a tax payer like you. And she probably has a job too and pays Social Security taxes as well.

And all other women simply have their insurances pay. Insurances they pay into themselves or their parents. NOT YOU. This guy on my FB friends list thinks he has to pay for all these women to have sex. Women are going to have sex. They like sex. Just like you. Deal with it.

it is interesting that these issues are brought up again during Pluto in Capricorn. Pluto in Cancer was during the WW1 and 1920s/early 1930's era. This was another women centered era where women fought for their right ( and won ) to vote. Many other issues related to the issues now happened back then to. Issues of motherhood arose; more women left the home when their men were in combat to work and during the Depression, some women had to find jobs to help support the family. My great grandma went to work in the 1930s, but she was not married yet and it was when she first met my great grandpa. But she was still working. Some women wanted more control over their bodies back then and there were dangerous abortions being done in back alleys. This was happening until 1971.

Capricorn and Cancer are on an axis, representing the 10H and 4H respectively. The 4H is about the home, the family, ancestry roots and emotional stability. The 10H is the public sphere, politics, your career, etc. Capricorn brings these issues to light. These issues were a problem during the Cancer era as well, but more so private issues no one spoke about.

Little Kidz: Gemini Moon

“I think.”

The Gemini Moon child likes to talk. Even if they are quiet at school or in public ( say if they have a Capricorn rising, Pisces rising, or a Virgo rising to name a few ), they talk talk talk at home. At home, they feel safe when they talk and speak their mind.

He likes to talk about everything under the sun… whether it be the neighbors cat ( and how dumb it is ), the kooky old man across the street, what the President does, and/or why things are the way they are. He asks a lot of questions; sometimes annoying, sometimes not. He has the gift of the gab.

She is curious and inquisitive. It’s almost in her nature. You will find that she might not care if she hurts anyone’s feelings. She thinks her views are as objective as anyone else’s.

He has a lot of friends and he never runs out of conversation with them. He is always surrounded by a group of friends. If he’s the quiet type, he has a few friends at his side who always intellectually stimulate him.

She is very smart, but sometimes has a hard time focusing in school. There may be attention issues. She may have a hard time keeping her attention on one thing and she gets bored very very easily. One day she’s interested in learning about dinosaurs and the next day she wants to know about the human body, so you take her to an exhibit.

He is a talented writer. He may be good at fantasy stories with the Moon in Gemini, or he may be good at writing in general. His penmanship is possibly neat, or it may be cluttered and disorganized.
She needs constant stimulation in her life for it to be interesting. If there is not, then she gets bored and restless. There may be issues with anxiety. You may notice a worrying attitude with her. She can be very nervous when things do not go her way.

Sometimes he can be accused of being detached when it comes to emotions, but he prefers to intellectualize them. That does not mean you will not get an occasional temper tantrum at the store.

Astrology Questions

On Yahoo Answers I put my personal e-mail address on there for people to ask me questions regarding astrology.
But since my personal email is cluttered between spam, work stuff, professional stuff and school stuff, it gets hard to keep up with everything, and sometimes e-mails from people get buried between all the spam.
I have an email JUST for astrology questions..
sarah.astrology@gmail.com
If you have any suggestions for the blog, or personal questions, send it there and not to my personal e-mail address.
Cool beans.

Thanks!

Little Kidz: Taurus moon

The Taurus moon child likes comfort and stability. All children need stability to some degree ( chaos can do interesting things ), but this child needs it the most. He needs affection, but not in the same was as a Leo moon child. He needs a mom/dad that is always there for him when he needs it most. He needs affection but not too much of it.
She likes comfort. She will want you to read her a bedtime story so her imagination can go wild. She sometimes can be materialistic. All children love the toystore, but she sometimes may place too much emphasis on material things. “Whomever has the most toys wins.”
He likes his favorite foods. He has his comfort foods. He could be a picky eater. Or he could go in the other direction, being a complete foodie! Either way, food could be an issue to him.
She has a stubborn streak to her. When she means “no,” she means no. It may be a hassle to try to get her to see things your way. However, when she says she will do something, she’ll do it whether it’s picking up a mess she made, or a math work sheet from school. She can be fixed and does not change her opinions about things easily, whether it be a mean teacher, a dumb friend, or a boyfriend of yours she doesn’t like. The stubbornness is her best quality, but also her worst.
He can be possessive of his toys and food. If he has leftovers and you eat it, then it’s likely you’re going to get an evil glare. He doesn’t always like to share his toys and he is possessive of what is “his”, but this can depend on anything else in his second house. But he can learn to share.
She likes to have fun, but within her own boundaries. She isn’t going to try new things at once, since she is a cautious child. She moves on to one new thing and then builds on as she moves forward. It is not wise to push her to do things she does not like to do. She does need to get out of her comfort zone, but at her own pace.
He could have a lazy streak to him. While he can pick up after himself sometimes when you beg him to do it, he’d rather sit back and watch TV, or play video games. In better news, he can be a mellow child who does not get angered easily. But when he does get angry, watch out for one volcano of a temper tantrum!
She can sometimes be motivated to do chores if she gets money. While kids do not completely understand money, they do understand that if they help out around the house, they could be “rewarded” via money or a new toy. You may see her savvy about money. She may like to save her money to get something real nice. When she gets something, she takes good care of it. She appreciates the finer things in life.
He could be shy at first. A little withdrawn. But he’s sociable when he wants to be. He is likeable and friendly. Sometimes he doesn’t do anything out of the ordinary, but he is stable and reliable.

Update

A month ago I wrote “Little Kidz Aries Moon.” I do still plan on continuing finishing the series, but it won’t be as involved as the last one. I say that because that post took two hours to write, and so much time. I like astrology, but I have other duties in life like school and work. My schooling is important to me. I’m studying nutrition and I like it alot. I love astrology, but nutriton is my other passion.
The “Little Kidz” will continue going through Moon signs. They will be detailed, but they will not be a dissertation.
But remember when you’re reading these they will pertain to people, but Moon signs are still individualized by aspects and house placements.
So the “Little Kidz” blogs will just be on the Moon signs only.
I’m hoping to get some other interesting blogs in, like about eating disorders, other synastry issues, and things of that nature.
E-mail me at totefee@gmail.com if you have any ideas of what you want me to blog about.
Also, check “Blog Archives” for all the other things i’ve written

THE QUINCUNX

The Quincunx is when two planets are 150 degrees from each other ( with an orb of 8 degrees or less. I go by 8 degrees but some people think up to 10 degrees is significant. And that is a PERSONAL choice. It's up to you! )
An example of a quincunx is when someone's Mars in Aries/6 degrees is quincunx the Venus in Scorpio at 8 degrees. That leaves an orb of 2-ish. Well, that's what I personally have in my chart, although those are simply rough estimates. ( But good enough ).
My drives/desires/ambition are glossed with an Aries tone. My Mars also falls into my 1st house. I have many Aries and Mars-ish qualities in my personality. I can be very restless ( Mars square Uranus ) and anxiety prone, but these anxieties are heightened when I get impatient/frustrated/angry. I get angry easily and I show it easily, but I also calm down easier. I dont usually hold a grudge, but I am capable of it if someone fucks with me bad. But if someone does something not too bad, I'm not going to hold a grudge.

Venus in Scorpio wants commitment, devotion, passion, and emotional depth. Mars in Aries wants to get on with it and is direct and sometimes blunt. Combine the two in the quincunx and they do NOT understand each other at all.
I feel like I am an oddity when it comes to relationships, especially with this aspect. I do think my love nature and my desires/drive do not understand each other. I have clear motives. I never try to hide my motives completely, but I can be subtle about what I want in a weirdly direct way. If you get what I'm going.. when I first met my boyfriend, I initiated everything like a good Aries Mars would, but my motives were a relationship. Its hard to explain.
I want deep commitment, but I like "me" time and doing "me" things. This is a characteristic of everyone, but my desires and goals are "me oriented." Does this interfere with my relational Scorpio side?

Anyway, the quincunx whatever planets are involved can be difficult. It is much more difficult, in my opinion, than the square or opposition. The square created tension, but you;ll need to be able to deal with the conflict and move on. Squares make your life easier once you get over them. Oppositions will need to be moderated; you find moderation and you're good to go. Quincunx do not understand each other at all! Adaptations will need to be made!

Some people have Moon-Saturn quincunx! That means the Saturn nature does not understand the Moon's nature. This can lead to loneliness and lack of emotional expression in some cases.

In synastry, the quincunx can suck. Say someone has a Moon in Leo at 2 degrees and the other person has Venus in Capricorn at 3 degrees. The one person's Moon in Leo wants praise, love and affection and above all, attention. Leo moons like attention. They are not all attention whores, but they need love and praise. The Venus in Capricorn person is committed, yet almost standoffish and cautious when it comes to love. Sometimes they commit because they have put so much investment in the relationship. Venus in Capricorn is more practical when it comes to love and Moon in Leo may not be happy with what they're getting. Basically, the one person's emotional nature does NOT understand the other's relational/romantic/love nature.

If you have a quincunx that doesn't mean your relationship is doomed. Just like anyone who has a bunch of squares or oppositions. Usually, there are good beneficial aspects to help out the relationship. Venus-Jupiter, Moon-Jupiter, Jupiter-Pluto, Sun-Moon, Moon-Saturn, Venus-Saturn, etc etc can be good.

Little Kidz: Aries rising

Sorry for writing this one so late!! Been busy with school, work, and random life things.
I don’t like using he/she when I write so I will switch paragraphs using either he or she. But all of this applies to either boys or girls.
The Aries Moon child likes adventure. She is curious about the world around her and likes to go on adventures. She likes to ride her bike around the neighborhood or dare other kids to pet the scary pit bull. She’s not afraid to pick up snakes, or taunt other kids for being afraid.
He is a brave child. He can stand up for what he believes in. Sometimes he is the bully and can be overly aggressive towards other children, but sometimes he can be the one who stands up for the other child being bulled. He likes sports. He likes to be active. Sometimes he is impatient with other kids who are not as skilled as he is.
She can be impulsive and talk back to her mom or dad when she is angry. She often gets angry when she does not get her way. She is an independent child who likes to do things her way and she can be quite defiant towards authority ( like her mother. ) She resents anyone who wants to mold her into something she is not.
He can be mouthy. If there is Mars-Mercury aspects, he might say things he should not. He might be rude and tactless, and hurt siblings’ feelings. He will need to learn how to understand sensitivities and not only his emotions matter.
She is bright and quick witted. She is the child who can tell a joke but still come off as intelligent. Sometimes she can be arrogant about how much she knows. Sometimes she may say something rude without realizing it. She makes a great friend to those who knows her well. She inspires her friends to be brave and assertive. She knows how to stand up to those who try to bully her. No one keeps her down.
He likes to be the first; the first to try new things. He is not afraid of getting an answer wrong in class. Other kids admire his courage of being first to try new things and they laugh when he does not like it.
Aries moon through the rising signs..
Aries moon, Aries rising- This may produce Moon conjunct Asc, Moon in the 1st house, or even Moon in the 12th house. Whatever the case with Moon on the Asc, emotions are important. The Aries Moon experiences emotions through his or her personality; if it’s through the 1st house, expect this child to say exactly how he or she feels directly. He/she might throw a fit or get extremely impatient. If this is in the 12H, then emotions might be more repressed and subtle but do show their head through a tantrum or a cry when repressed for so long.
The outward personality of this child is most likely going to be very Aries-like. With an Aries Moon as well, these Arian energies are going to be very pronounced as a child. The child may have bouts of impatience and anger, but will also be a pioneer to try new things and should be able to stand up for himself or herself. They will likely be talkative and inquisitive, but sometimes do things you do not like.
Aries Moon, Taurus rising- Having a Taurus rising does slow down the Aries Moon child a bit. He/she is likely to be less hyperactive and more laid back and mellow. Even though the child comes off as mellow in school, there still is a tendency for tantrums and impatience at home. The child is free to experience his/her Aries qualities at home, because that is where he/she feels the most comfortable expressing them. It’s also likely the Moon falls into the 12H, or towards the end of the 11H. If the Moon is falling into the 12H, the child may have a hard time expressing emotions but these fiery energies might implode like a volcano if repressed for so long.
There even could be a streak of stubborness in the child. Combined with the Aries, he/she might know exactly what they want and be quite picky. Especially with food. Taurus rising adds creativity and a liking of things pretty; you can expect the child to want to look good at least. There probably isn’t as much of an interest in sports unless Mars is strong.
Aries Moon, Gemini rising - Gemini rising adds a more airy quality to the kid. Think of Aries and Gemini together = Hyperactivity. The curiosity and inquisitiveness of the child is INCREASED. Expect MANY MANY questions about life and how things work and why things are the way they are. Also expect this kid to state what he or she thinks all the time. They may or may not be opinionated though, but probably so.
This kid is probably active and likes to move. Unless other places in the chart say otherwise. You are going to want him/her to slow down, but you also might like they are so active. This kid might also not want to eat all the time, either. There is a nervous energy. They’d rather play than eat. The kid is probably talkative and outgoing; they have many playmates around the neighborhood. “Gift of the gab”. I’d imagine the child could either be a stellar student, or have problems concentrating.
Aries Moon, Cancer rising - Expect the kid to be a little more quiet at school, even if they are loud and proud at home. Don’t be surprised if the teacher says the child is quiet and passive. But this also depends on rest of the chart too. The Cancer rising definitely lessens the blows of having an Aries Moon, but there  could be a Moon-Asc square going on in the chart. That just shows that the emotional nature and authority figures ( 10H for kids ) could be at odds. Perhaps the kid felt like he/she could not show the feelings of Aries rising without being reprimanded by some sort of authority figure.
The child appears nice and soft. Boys come off as kind and helpful. They like to be help around the classroom and house. With the Cancer rising and Aries moon, there might be bouts of moodiness and defensiveness. If you disagree with the child, they will fight back in a very emotional, fiery way. There could be issues with authority figures, like the mom or dad when the child actually does want to exert his/her independence, or maybe the parent wanted to force independence on the child. ( When I mean independence, I don’t mean leaving the house. I’m talking about things like choosing own clothes, riding your bike wherever you want, choosing what you wear on a day to day basis, doing things without parental help etc etc ). The child is somewhat of a paradox: fiery, yet sensitive and comforting. Individualistic, yet introverted and sensitive. Defensive, yet caring and helpful.
Aries Moon, Leo rising — Expect this to probably be a loud child. This is a child that probably likes to show off to some degree. There could be sports, theatre, modeling, art or music involvement. The child likes and craves praise. He/she likes to do a job well done. This child is quite popular and outgoing. He/she has many friends around the neighborhood. There is a charm to the child that is not missable. They like to be a “star” in whatever they choose to hobby in-whether it’s sports, modeling or putting on plays.
Sometimes it may seem the child likes to be the center of attention. They can be dramatic when they do not get what they want; combined with a fiery nature and temper tantrums. ALL kids throw fits, but some throw fits more than others.
Aries Moon, Virgo rising - Expect these kids to be more on the quiet side. Virgo and Aries are quincunx, which means they do not understand each other at all. It may seem like the child’s personality at school doesn’t always match what you see at home. The child may come off as neat and perfectionistic. You never have to worry about him or her not doing homework. You may or may not have to nag him/her to clean up after him/herself.
The emotional nature is, of course, fiery, impatient, and brave. The personality is meticulous, perfectionistic and analytical. The child can be of brave quality. There will be a love of adventures, but these will be adventures where the child can learn and analyze. Learning adventures.
Aries Moon, Libra rising - The emotional nature and personality are at odds. The outer personality is charming, sociable and fair. The Moon has its impatient tendencies and ca be blunt at times. Libra is diplomatic; Aries just says what it wants. The child does have more diplomacy than most Aries Moon kids. There is a gift of the gab, and the child is probably very popular at school.
The assertiveness and bravery of Aries Moon combined with sociability and fairness of Libra rising can produce positive results. You can still expect the child to be impatient and less diplomatic at home, as that is where the Moon expresses itself easily.
Aries Moon, Scorpio rising - You might think the child knows everything about you or sees right through you. He or she is more quiet than what the Moon sign would suggest, but they can come off as intuitive and somewhat of loners. You might be surprised of what this child says; of what they think. Scorpio and Aries produces an interesting combination; but sometimes anger might be kept inside and then it explodes inappropriately esp when at school.
The child is probably not manipulative. At home, the child is usually direct with what they think and usually wants to be left alone to do their own thing.
Aries Moon, Sagittarius rising - This kid could say some mean, blunt things, but not really mean to hurt anyone’s feelings. You might hear things like “They are fat” or “I don’t wanna be friends with her. I don’t like her” right in front of said children. You will need to tell this child to sometimes keep thoughts to himself or herself because saying certain things are inappropriate.
The child is probably active and talkative. Could be into sports. Sometimes may have hyperactive tendencies. Usually curious, asks quite a bit of questions, and sometimes throws bad temper tantrums.
Aries Moon, Capricorn rising - This child has a more serious nature especially when at school. He or she is probably quiet and studious. This is a child you do not necessarily worry about getting into trouble at school. With Capricorn rising, sometimes people think the kid is older than what they really are.
It’s easy for the child to start new things. They are not procrastinators. They respond well to structure and routine. It is likely they could be into sports, especially organized ones. If they aren’t into sports, they usually don’t question your authority until they get older and can think for themselves. There is still that anger and tantrums associated with Aries, but it is more controlled.
Aries Moon, Aquarius rising - These kids are the true pioneers. They like to go on all sorts of adventures. Sometimes you have to tell them “no” on their adventures but only out of their own safety. They are often “too nice” to strangers and you sometimes have to tell them that some people are bad! There could be a rebellious streak in the kids; combined with both Aries and Aquarius as main forms of personality. There could be angry outbursts when they are not allowed to do as they choose. Aquarius is very freedom loving.
You probably have to nag him or her to clean their room or do boring chores that they seem to think they are too smart or too high up to do. This kid would rather be doing their own thing than having you tell them what to do. If you tell him or her they can’t do something it just means they will want to do it more and shock you.
Aries Moon, Pisces rising - These kids come off as gentle and kind at first, but do not be fooled. While they may be quiet at school, at home they may be loud, impatient and assertive. There may also be a creative bent- these kids may like to draw or make music. With the Aries influence, they’re more likely to start instead of dreaming it all up.
They’re freedom loving and adventurous, but also are kind to other kids and do not like confrontation all the time… unless it’s needed. However, if you are the parent, they may say exactly what they want to YOU because they feel the most comfortable towards you.

New for 2012: "Little Kid Interpretations"

You might wonder what “Little Kid Interpretations” are. Well, remember my “Rising Sign Fun” I had a year ago. This will be similar.
Basically, this will be a basic interpretation of general personality in children. The Moon sign is said to be an important placement in a baby, toddler, or child’s chart. No doubt is the rising sign important as well. Obviously we will have the Leo moon child who is loud and proud at home, but with a quiet and meticulous Virgo rising.
All placements in the chart are important in determining specific features of a child’s personality. But this will be basic basic basic! You must always look at house placements and aspects too. And reading a child’s placements are read differently than an adults.
How does a child express Venus? First and foremost, it’s through creativity. But I’m going with the Moon sign as prominent and then the rising sign and how it modifies the Moon personality.
So I’ll start with Aries Moon and then go through the rising signs, and have the combinations.
You can read this about yourself for when you were a kid, or your child, or your niece/nephew, or your favorite student ( if you work as a teacher, or work with children in general ).
Ill be writing the first tonight or tomorrow. :-)
Looking forward to this new series.
Eventually I also do plan on writing the third installment of the Pluto in Scorpio generation blog series. I just need to get my thoughts together.
