Little Kidz: Virgo Moon

Disclaimer: This is only talking about the Moon sign. Obviously the whole chart needs to be taken into consideration, but you will probably find these general ideas to be truth to your child, to yourself, or to someone you know. And these are only WAYS this can manifest. Some may apply to you, others will not. Depends on the rest of the chart.

Enjoy :-)

The Virgo moon child is meticulous, patient, and good with words, both verbally and in written form. It’s likely you saw him or her trying to use “big” words as a child. They like to know their vocabulary, what the word means and how they can use it.They may or may not be neat. Some are going to be super neat, freaking out if something is out of place. Other Virgo moon children are going to be as messy as a Sagittarius or Pisces.

She likes to be considered smart. In a book smart sense. She may have been titled the “Walking Encyclopedia” growing up. She possibly had an interest in the sciences, but mostly for concrete value. Most of all, she loves to learn and expand her knowledge. There are, however, perfectionist tendencies you must watch out for. If her Moon falls into the 6H, you will either want to watch out for either obesity or anorexia nervosa. Body image issues.

Sometimes it may seem he likes to do well in school only because he wants the best grades. He’s great at memorizing material and he wants to do the best in his class. He may be an honor roll student or getting straight A’s, and you must remind him that a B every now and again is fine.

She is highly sensitive but she does not show it. She is shy and stoic, but has great feeling for animals. Cats may interest her. She is embarrassed if she ever has to show emotion. Emotions are messy for the Virgo moon. Virgo moons do not like anything messy.

He is not against abandoning junk food if you give him practical reasons of why he needs to be healthy. Most children do not understand, but he will. You never have to haggle him to brush his teeth or eat his veggies, because he already does. He picks up on a healthy lifestyle at a young age. He also understands the importance of hygiene once you allow him to understand the practical value of it.

You may not be organized yourself, but you will notice that your Virgo moon child or little sibling is organized herself. She may like to organize her room in a neat fashion, or organize clothes in a color coordinated fashion. There is a system to everything in her life, especially in her room, where toys may be organized by size or function.

He has an attention to detail. You could be in an argument with him and he won’t let go of a petty minor detail. Sometimes he has a hard time seeing the “big picture” and refuses to see anything out of black and white, concrete terms. On the positive side, he sees the details no one else notices and can use this to help people. Once he gets older, he may be able to pick up the minor details and tie it together into the big picture.

There is an innocence about her that is hard to miss. While other little kids are getting in trouble, she always makes sure she is following the rules, but that doesn’t mean she is an unthinking robot. She follows rules when they mean safety and practicality.

He may not be into glamorous toys. He may want toys that help prepare him for service or a role, or that helps him learn something. If you do not have enough money to get him something, he understands and will not press you.

Saturn in the 11th house: Yes, who you hang out with DOES matter

Growing up with Saturn in the 11th house has brought both challenges and benefits in my life. I was also born in a lower income socieo bracket, so the places and locations I’ve grown up in has not always been ideal.

Challenges in my life:
- I find it hard to “network” with people in my major and other dietitians. I love talking to my professors and asking them questions about the field, but I hold back in class. Often I send e-mails. I’m somewhat shy, but I can handle social situations with grace when properly prepared. It’s like I want to get a job, work in my field, and then go home and live my life. I feel weird about belonging to a group. Becoming one of the group. ( Combined with Aquarius rising, but my major fits in with Cancer on the 6H cusp and Moon in the 6H )

- I’ve always been an introvert a loner, and have preferred to hang out all by myself. I do not like large groups of people. I’ll make myself smile to someone if they smile at me first, or if they say “hey” I’ll be polite and say “hey” back. However, if you look like a loser and look like you are no good, I don’t speak back.

One thing I’ve always believed in, especially growing up in a poor area, is that the people you hang out with ( yes, even in high school ) determine how you are seen and even your success later on in life. Growing up I was aware of the challenges that would meet me trying to get to a place I want to be. I knew college was expensive and I was afraid I was not able to go, even though I am a smart and competent person.

I think a lot of people born into poverty are poor because of the people they hang out with, the culture poverty brings, and the overall environment. I did grow up with supportive grandparents who were college educated and wanted me to be successful, since my mother failed. ( I am not saying people are not poor because of the rich and powerful wanting to control everything and choosing not to create GOOD jobs. That’s half the problem, but that’s NOT what I am discussing today. Half of the poverty problem is society, but the other half is the individual himself/herself. You can CHOOSE not to get knocked up. Educate yourself. You can CHOOSE not to go down a road of violence and crime. You can CHOOSE not to spend all your Burger King money on cocaine. The list can go on ).

I like to live a life that ishealthy, balanced, and active.Which means I like to eat good ( although I will eat fast food, or splurge every now and again ) and I exercise. I want people in my life that arenon-toxic.

A person with Saturn in the 11th house is probably an introvert. He or she probably doesn’t have a lot of friends, but they do take friendship seriously.Another important factor of Saturn in the 11th house is that friends can make or break your success.I have not personally read this in any astrology texts or websites, but that is HOW the Saturn in the 11th house person sees friendship. They need friends that make them look competent. Of course they care about emotional commitments and loyalty of friends, but the other is just as important.

OK.If you’re trying to get somewhere in life, it’s important to have friends and a network of people supporting you, whether it be teachers, acquaintances and people you see in general. Co workers also count. This counts for everyone regardless of social class you were born in, but it is CRUCIAL for those born poor.( I define “poor” as someone who grew up on a family below federal poverty line and had parents getting assistance fro the government. ) If you hang out with a gang, then you are probably not going to get your Ph.D. that you once wanted when you were 16. I’m just telling the truth. Bold and clear.

If the network of people you are with does not support you and gets you to do things that are illegal, unhealthy, and/or morally wrong, then you are probably not going to get anywhere in life. Yes, success is subjective. And I’m not saying that someone who went down the wrong path can not find success later in life if they just clean up. It will just be harder and they will need to seek help. They also need to hang out with different people. People who care about their futures, health, and emotional and financial well-being.

In poor areas, it’s easy to not do well in school because it’s seen as “uncool”. People also may not believe in you, or may tell you that you will never go to college. Also, not everyone has to go to college either. Not everyone is actually academically inclined. If that is the case, do the best in school that you can and find a niche you’re good at. Automotive, retail/sales, child care, and associates degrees in health care and business fields can help get someone from a modest background get on their feet. These can be at vocational schools during last two years of high school and/or community colleges.

I spent my adolescence in a trailer park. Mainly included hicks who thought they were straight out of the ghetto. Hilarious, really. Most of kids at my trailer park did not graduate high school. I knew that the kids there were not good for me to hang out with, so I picked my friends wisely. I’m a quiet and introverted person, so I do not make friends casually and freely. I select friends that I want to build something on and go from there.

Once I started getting older, all of this became more aware to me. I knew that a lot of the kids I grew up with were losers. I was also thought of as a “snob” there but I am quite a polite person most of the time. I also knew I wanted to get somewhere someday. And being with those people wasn’t going to get me there.

If you’re with supportive people, you can get somewhere. It doesn’t make you snobby. You do not want to hang out with the wrong crowd. That is why my mother did not succeed in life and I always told myself I would not be her.

End note:Who you hang out with matters, whether you like it or not. I think it’s better to be a loner than hang out with the wrong crowd. People are an important to your success, though. This includes the support of parents, friends, other family members, strangers, employers, acquaintances, networks, instructors, etc etc. If you do not have the support, then it will be very difficult for you to get where you want to be. If you do not have family to support you, then make friends who will.

You want your friends to make you look like you are competent and worth hiring. So it’s not cool to hang out with a bunch of guys who are smoking around and wearing pants falling down if you’re applying to a job that makes 3X more than what you are making now.
/End rant

Little Kidz: Leo moon

Disclaimer: I am going to switch paragraphs between boys and girls, but this could apply to anyone. Also, these are only WAYS this placement can manifest. Not all Leo moon children will display all these characteristics.

I am a Leo moon person, so I might be biased. LOL…j/k, but I know first hand what it’s like to be a Leo moon child.

Obviously, this needs to be taken into account a child is more than their sun and moon sign too. So these are generalized.

The Leo moon childis not necessarily a loud child, but they can be. It’s possible he is shy and quiet at school, but is a loud mouth at home. However, it is also possible that shes outgoing, bubbly, and loves to be the center of attention. Whether or not they’re outgoing or shy, there is a need for recognition
 and attention.

He needs a lot of love in this world. Sometimes there is a need to feel “special’ or “one of a kind.” It’s best to praise him when he does well and remind him of what he is good at. However, if he gets cocky, it’s unwise to “remind” him to be humble, but allow him to grow out of it and let him know that other people might get hurt by his actions.

She likes attention. It is possible she whined and cried a lot as a baby, but it doesn’t mean it will stop as she gets older. There may be temper tantrums in a store. She can be materialistic and it is likely she has a long list of things she wants from Santa. She wants what she wants and will throw a fit to get it. However, in this case, it’s wise to get her what she wants when she DESERVES it and when she’s bad, punishment should follow. Leo moon children need to know the right ways to behave and that they can’t get everything they want.

He can be a braggart. When he does something well, he wants his parents and siblings to know it.
Other people, even the parents, might get annoyed by this, but he likes recognition. He can be quite creative as well.Creativity must be expressed in a good outlet, like writing, theatre, music, or even scientific endeavors. It’s fine to brag sometimes, but not all the time.

She likes to play dress up and put on shows for her friends and family. She likes to be the center of attention.. AT LEAST when she is performing. She likes to have fun and play with her friends. She is quite popular and likeable, even if she has a fiery streak.

He has a generous nature and is fun loving. He is the child who is fine giving an extra quarter to the other child in the lunch line. He likes to feel noble and kind.

She likes to tell stories and sometimes she will exaggerate what is truth and what is not. That is why story telling is a good way for a creativity outlet. Writing stories or even telling fictional stories is a great way for her imagination to run wild.

He likes to do a job well done. Even if he is NOT a braggart, he likes recognition and works hard for it. He likes to be proud of what he does.

She may have a pride streak. She may not always like to admit she is wrong or apologize when she is bad. She also could be vain and into her appearance. She likes to be treated like a princess. She also probably likes fluffy cats.
