Moon square Mars in synastry ( by sign ) PART 2

Moon in Libra square Mars in Capricorn: Moon in Libra likes fairness and equality, especially in the domestic sphere. Sometimes he/she can be lazy and apathetic when emotions are sour. Mars in Capricorn is hardworking and has a sensual sexuality that is mostly traditional. Unless Uranus is aspecting Mars or something… Mars in Capricorn likes to get down to business, figure things out, but sometimes they can be icy and indifferent.
In some ways, this is an ice meets ice duo. This is not to say Moon in Libra is icy; this is not the case. Some people with Moon in Libra can be icy, but Libra is an AIR sign. Air is associated with intellect. The Moon is in a creative position. An artsy position.
Sometimes the Mars sees the Moon as too superficial, interested in looks, or too idealistic. The Moon often sees the Mars as uncaring to his/her needs and too much of a staunch realist. The Moon thinks Mars needs to loosen up a bit. If the Moon feels hurt, the Mars sees it as tough love.
The Moon wants fairness. Mars says that is “too tough.”
Moon in Capricorn square Mars in Libra: This is not a showy emotional Moon. They are quite stable emotionally; things to not get to them easily. Mars in Libra is creative, does not get angry too often, and values cooperation.
The Moon likes stability, both financially and emotionally. Moon in Capricorn men and women aren’t into people who crazy party or those who can’t hold a job of some sort. The Moon is a hard worker. They are capable of showing much affection but until you know them better.
Mars in Libra, depending on other factors in the chart, may not seem driven ( in the Moon’s perception ) to bringing financial and emotional stability. This is not to say those with Mars in Libra lack financial and emotional stability; everything depends on the rest of the chart. Mars in Libra might not seem as responsible as the Moon wants them to be or too superficial.
The Mars person might come off as careless to the Moon’s needs, and the Moon might be put of by superficialities.
Moon in Scorpio square Mars in Aquarius is a fixed combination. Scorpio Moon is intensely emotional, whether they show it or not. They can sway between indifference and passion. There is a need to control emotions. Scorpio moon men and women do not want to appear vulnerable. They can hold grudges. Mars in Aquarius is free spirited. They are independent, but not fiercely so. They are open minded about sexuality, and do not get angry easily. Sometimes a seemingly lack of passion can be mistaken for indifference or apathy.
Scorpio Moon wants someone whom he/she can share everything in their life with. They want a companion as well as a partner. Trust is key here. Sometimes the Aquarius Mars person is perfect in many ways; they are loyal and trustworthy, as well as tolerant.
The conflict here is closeness verses independence. They do not necessarily have to be in conflict, though. The Scorpio Moon wants closeness, devotion and loyalty. The Mars person may be capable of closeness depending on other factors in the chart, but they may want some space to do their own thing. Often times, the Moon takes this as a personal rejection or the Mars person doesn’t “care enough.”
Moon in Aquarius verses Mars in Scorpio is similar to the previous post. Moon in Aquarius has as many emotions as other people, but they like to detach themselves from their emotions and analyze them. In many cases, the Moon is aware of his/her emotions, but may not be the type of person who is showy of them. That’s embarrassing to the Moon. Mars in Scorpio is oozing with passion, whether they show it or not. They are extremely secretive, especially about sex. They are slow to get angry, but when they do, watch out.
One would imagine that a Moon in Aquarius would be afraid of a type like Mars in Scorpio, especially if the Moon is a woman and the Mars is a man. Like all Moon-Mars aspects, there is a degree of attraction there.
In this conflict, there may be issues regarding independence/space verses being together. However, the Mars person may seek action to control the Moon person. The Moon person may be capable of such commitment, but he/she does not want to be controlled in any shape, way or form.
If the Mars person is not mature, he/she be extremely possessive. Passions run high. The high passionate energy may be flattering at first, but sometimes it may get scary. The Moon doesn’t want to be possessed and will leave without looking back if Mars keeps on pushing.
All in all, if the Mars is more mature, then the relationship can work out. Moon person needs to be willing to give up some independence, as everyone does that when in a loving relationship.
Moon in Sagittarius square Mars in Pisces: The Moon here is optimistic, freedom loving, and tolerant. The Mars here is creative, dreamy, escapist, and sensitive. In a Female/Moon and Male/Mars traditional arena here, the “independent lady” falls in love with the creative/poetic/musical type of guy. Although this can occur when the Moon is a guy and the Mars is the girl.
Moon in Sagittarius is noted for his/her tolerance and honesty. Sometimes the Moon here is terribly blunt, especially if there is a Mars aspect natally too. Moon in Sagittarius needs to be able to do what he/she wants. Does not mean he/she is afraid of commitment!
The Mars person, if afflicted, can have issues with commitment. Pisces is capable of such, but sometimes gets afraid due to perceived inabilities and insecurities. If this is a man, he/she might be worried about masculinity. It is quite possible that this is a creative/artistic person, but he/she may be a bit unreliable. Sometimes the Mars may be prone to delusions and can cheat.
That is only in the worst of cases. There may not be cheating at all, but disappearing acts, drugs and alcohol, and harming oneself. ( Esp if Mars in the 12H and in Pisces. )
The Moon is likely to get sick of the blaming, drugs, and negative behavior. The Moon also doesn’t like liars.
In good cases, the Mars person not any of those bad things. But he/she might have issues regarding honesty to the Moon person due to being afraid of hurting feelings. The Mars person has many good ideals and the Moon person would be happy to hear them.
Moon in Pisces square Mars in Sagittarius: Moon in Pisces is highly sensitive and idealistic. This is a person who likes to daydream. They are also sensitive to other people’s feelings, sometimes having a hard time saying “no.” Othertimes a Moon in Pisces can be flighty. Mars in Sagittarius is an on the go person; there is a bluntness about them. Like any fire sign, it is likely that anger will erupt quickly, but Sagittarius forgets and moves on. Mars in Sagittarius has a flair for adventure.
Mars is attracted to the Moon’s dreaminess. The Mars likes that the Moon is really up to anything and goes with the flow. The Mars person isn’t too anal, unless other factors in the chart is present. Both the Moon and Mars can be laid back when around each other. The Mars appreciates emotional support from the Moon.
A possible conflict here is when the Mars says and does things that hurts the Moon person. It is possible that the Moon person is, in fact, being hypersensitive, but sometimes he/she can’t help it. The Mars person is blunt and says what is on his/her mind, and sometimes a tactless conversation can hurt the Moon.
The Moon is as adventurous as any person, but prefers to have someone take care of them, or protect them. ( Mostly true for a female ). If Sagittarius doesn’t want to protect the Moon, then the Moon feels like crap.
The Moon will need to toughen up. Mars needs to watch his/her mouth and understand that not everyone is quite as fearless as them.
Moon in Capricorn square Mars in Aries: How can there be any conflict with two “tough” signs? Capricorn is a go-getter, disciplined, rational, and needs stability, both emotional and financial. ( Remember, the Moon is what we need. ). Mars in Aries is also a go-getter, but is sometimes more fierce and in your face than you’d like. Mars in Aries is also fiercely independent and quick to anger, where as Moon in Capricorn is not so much. Capricorn is steady; Aries is impulsive.
How could Mars possibly hurt the Moon? The Moon doesn’t like showy emotions. That’s embarrassing. However, the Moon here likes stability and someone always there. The Moon is disciplined. This is not an impulsive person.
Mars is impulsive. Sometimes there are things said and done to the Moon that’s hurtful, because the Mars is impulsive and sometimes doesn’t think. Sometimes the Moon sees the Mars as someone who is not exactly stable aka someone who will be responsible. At least at that time.
Eventually the Moon will see the Mars as too rash, impatient and selfish. While the Moon is going to like a go getter attitude, that is not all that matters.
This is probably a better position for business partners rather than romantic partners. But again, one aspect will not determine everything.
Moon in Aries square Mars in Capricorn: Moon in Aries is rash, impulsive, creative, a go-getter, and doesn’t like soft emotions that make her/him appear weak. Mars in Capricorn is a slow and steady worker, but gets the job done. Mars in Capricorn is not impulsive, rational and disciplined. This Mars does not get angry easily.
The Mars may see the Moon person as someone who needs more discipline or someone who needs his/her advice. These two can care very much for each other like any couple, but the Moon does NOT like being told what to do. She/he can take care of themselves, thank you very much, and does not need Mars coming in for the control.
The Moon may see the Mars person as an OCD control freak who doesn’t like to let loose and have fun. The Moon may see the Mars person as limiting to his/her self expression.
Again, this is where the conflict may root in. Both can learn from each other.
Moon in Aquarius square Mars in Taurus: The Moon needs to be able to do their own thing, even in a relationship. The Moon needs to be intellectually stimulated. Taurus Mars is often driven by material gains. Aquarius… not so. This Mars may sometimes be seen as selfish or in it for themselves. However, this is a stable Mars.
I don’t see this placement as being the end of the world, per se. However, in many Mars-Moon squares, there is a degree at which the Moon is hurt by what the Mars says or does.
There is a degree of stubborness between both people. The Mars might try to domesticate the Moon person or try to tell the Moon person to be a certain way. Taurus in general is a more traditional and stable sign; it does not like change. Aquarius really just wants to do what it wants and doesn’t care about social mores.
The Moon person may come to resent the Mars person for not “accepting them.” The Moon person is likely to see the Mars person as stubborn and stuck in his/her ways. The Mars person sees the Moon person as someone who is rather offbeat and needs more practical advice.
Moon in Taurus square Mars in Aquarius: The Moon here needs stability and to feel like they are hardworking, earning their material gains. The Moon here can be very possessive of his/her materials, like clothes or video games or food. The Mars here is driven intellectually; Aquarius Mars may be driven to help humanity for the greater good, and it does not get angry too often.
The Moon is sensual and likes commitment. The Mars may want commitment also, but he/she feels that there is other things to do. ( Life is many things and we have many opportunities ). Aquarius is stable emotionally, but not necessarily stable in a way that the Moon would want.
The Mars may not want to settle down when the Moon wants it. But that is really only one way this can manifest. The Mars may hurt the Moon by not being traditional. If this is a male-female case with Mars/man and Moon/woman, the moon may want a more traditional wine and dine relationship. If the Mars/man expects her to pay for herself, then he’s being “cheap.” Again, in astrology there are many ways things can manifest.
Moon in Pisces square Mars in Gemini: A mutable combination. The Moon in Pisces is hypersensitive and some of them need to be protected and have their needs/wants looked after by someone stronger than they are. This Moon needs to daydream and create. Mars in Gemini is erratic, and often doing many things at once.
Conflict here may be when the Moon wants the Mars to be deeper and more sensitive. The Mars is more intellectually stimulated and likes to do many things at once. It is likely that this Mars likes to experiment sexually. The Moon may see Mars as someone who is superficial and not really looking for their needs.
The Moon appreciates when the Mars says something interesting and quirky. The Moon also appreciates it when the Mars is open to doing many fun sexual things. The Mars appreciates when the Moon is deep and philosophical.
They have fun together. It is possible Pisces has its disappearing acts when he/she feels vulnerable, and the Mars is often wondering what he/she did wrong.
Moon in Gemini square Mars in Pisces: The Moon needs intellectual stimulation and multi tasking. This is a person who needs to be doing many things as they get bored easily. Mars in Pisces is creatively driven, perhaps as a musician or artist or writer. Mars in Pisces is sometimes passive-aggressive when they want to get what they want, and often go about things in indirect ways.
The Moon needs and values communication, even if they are shy on the outside. The Mars often “wows” the Moon with his/her creative projects. The Moon thinks that’s awesome and appreciates the Mars for who they are.
A conflict can erupt when the Moon wants a direct communication and doesn’t get it from the Mars. Sometimes the Mars may disappear when they feel vulnerable or oversensitive. The Moon may want the Mars to live in reality sometimes and see what they do to others.
The Mars may not be a reliable person all the time to the Moon and may give mixed messages.
**** These are interpretations of some things that may happen. I say “may”. One aspect is not the end of the world. People are not textbook astrology interpretations.
You may find some of this is true to you and others is not. That is normal and okay.
