Saturn is always feared among people, rightfully and wrongfully. It is what keeps us back, restricts us and limits us. Most of the time, though, this manifests internally inside of us. Sometimes we don't get what we want because of our own insecurities, and that is Saturn right there.
However sometimes Saturn does represent forces that you can not always control, too, like your mom being cold and icy, or your dad leaving you when you're little, or being born into poverty. Those things you can not control.
Saturn is also reality. It also represents discipline and what we consider important.
Sun-Saturn, Saturn-Moon, Saturn-Venus, Saturn-Mercury, Saturn-Jupiter, Saturn-Mars.... please see other articles.
Saturn-Uranus aspects: Uranus is change and liberal ideas. Saturn resists change and has more traditional ideas. So can you imagine combining the two? Any of the aspects, whether soft or harsh, indicate someone who can combine the old with the new; all the aspects show someone who can put practical foundations on the new and bizarre. Change must be practical and can be done. They are idealists but not bleeding heart idealists. They are humanitarian, but know what they can realistically do.
These people may be serious about technology or see the importance of technology. Some of these people with these aspects might see the importance of change and progression. Some people with these aspects might see the importance of astrology and practice astrology with a practical approach.
With these aspects there is a healthy dosage of idealism and realism. There is a healthy dose of change and resistance. There is a healthy dose of practicality and intuition.
Depending on the specific aspect you have, the conjunction is the most intense and these "energies" flow smoothly and naturally. The opposition indicates someone who can swing back and forth between both and needs moderation. The square and quincunx indicates a challenge or conflict between the two.
Saturn-Neptune aspects: If you're an artist or a writer or anyone doing anything in the arts, then you want a Saturn-Neptune aspect. Saturn adds structure and practicality to your artsy, idealist, impractical Neptune. It can bring structure and importance to your art work, writing, poetry, and music. If you do any of that, you're serious about it. It is something you highly value.
The arts are not always hailed the best places to get a job and rightfully so. But if you're good enough and talented enough in the arts, you can make a lot of money. Your dreams can come true. But there must be some sort of plan and structure ( Saturn ).
Fantasies and ideals can come true, but with a catch! You must work hard! You won't get that gig at the festival just for kicks and giggles. The town and community must first recognize your band and you must have some sort of talent. That comes with practice and diligence.
This does not generally denote fame, but it can.
Depending the aspects involved with show how the aspects flow. Conjunction, trines and sextiles are harminous and energies flow smoothly and naturally. Oppositions show you bounce back and forth and need a balance. Squares and quincunx show a challenge or conflict.
Saturn-Pluto aspects: Sounds scary, right? Yes, this can indicate someone who is interested in darkness, or is profound. They could have an interest in death and rebirth. Sometimes people with these aspects can be tortured, depressed, or overly intense.
But also there is seriousness to transform their lives. They can transform anything bad or anything limiting into their lives for good. These are maybe the people born into poverty, but have the determination to get out of it. These are the people who you wonder why they never cracked because so much bad happened to them. They are, indeed, resilient, or can be resilient.
Another way this can manifest is someone who does not like others ideas. They like to push their ideas and world view onto other people. ( True with the harsher aspects ). Can indicate narrow mindedness or a world view that is ruled by domination.
"Great power comes with great responsibility." A good motto for these Saturn-Pluto aspects.
