Little Kidz: Aries rising

Sorry for writing this one so late!! Been busy with school, work, and random life things.
I don’t like using he/she when I write so I will switch paragraphs using either he or she. But all of this applies to either boys or girls.
The Aries Moon child likes adventure. She is curious about the world around her and likes to go on adventures. She likes to ride her bike around the neighborhood or dare other kids to pet the scary pit bull. She’s not afraid to pick up snakes, or taunt other kids for being afraid.
He is a brave child. He can stand up for what he believes in. Sometimes he is the bully and can be overly aggressive towards other children, but sometimes he can be the one who stands up for the other child being bulled. He likes sports. He likes to be active. Sometimes he is impatient with other kids who are not as skilled as he is.
She can be impulsive and talk back to her mom or dad when she is angry. She often gets angry when she does not get her way. She is an independent child who likes to do things her way and she can be quite defiant towards authority ( like her mother. ) She resents anyone who wants to mold her into something she is not.
He can be mouthy. If there is Mars-Mercury aspects, he might say things he should not. He might be rude and tactless, and hurt siblings’ feelings. He will need to learn how to understand sensitivities and not only his emotions matter.
She is bright and quick witted. She is the child who can tell a joke but still come off as intelligent. Sometimes she can be arrogant about how much she knows. Sometimes she may say something rude without realizing it. She makes a great friend to those who knows her well. She inspires her friends to be brave and assertive. She knows how to stand up to those who try to bully her. No one keeps her down.
He likes to be the first; the first to try new things. He is not afraid of getting an answer wrong in class. Other kids admire his courage of being first to try new things and they laugh when he does not like it.
Aries moon through the rising signs..
Aries moon, Aries rising- This may produce Moon conjunct Asc, Moon in the 1st house, or even Moon in the 12th house. Whatever the case with Moon on the Asc, emotions are important. The Aries Moon experiences emotions through his or her personality; if it’s through the 1st house, expect this child to say exactly how he or she feels directly. He/she might throw a fit or get extremely impatient. If this is in the 12H, then emotions might be more repressed and subtle but do show their head through a tantrum or a cry when repressed for so long.
The outward personality of this child is most likely going to be very Aries-like. With an Aries Moon as well, these Arian energies are going to be very pronounced as a child. The child may have bouts of impatience and anger, but will also be a pioneer to try new things and should be able to stand up for himself or herself. They will likely be talkative and inquisitive, but sometimes do things you do not like.
Aries Moon, Taurus rising- Having a Taurus rising does slow down the Aries Moon child a bit. He/she is likely to be less hyperactive and more laid back and mellow. Even though the child comes off as mellow in school, there still is a tendency for tantrums and impatience at home. The child is free to experience his/her Aries qualities at home, because that is where he/she feels the most comfortable expressing them. It’s also likely the Moon falls into the 12H, or towards the end of the 11H. If the Moon is falling into the 12H, the child may have a hard time expressing emotions but these fiery energies might implode like a volcano if repressed for so long.
There even could be a streak of stubborness in the child. Combined with the Aries, he/she might know exactly what they want and be quite picky. Especially with food. Taurus rising adds creativity and a liking of things pretty; you can expect the child to want to look good at least. There probably isn’t as much of an interest in sports unless Mars is strong.
Aries Moon, Gemini rising - Gemini rising adds a more airy quality to the kid. Think of Aries and Gemini together = Hyperactivity. The curiosity and inquisitiveness of the child is INCREASED. Expect MANY MANY questions about life and how things work and why things are the way they are. Also expect this kid to state what he or she thinks all the time. They may or may not be opinionated though, but probably so.
This kid is probably active and likes to move. Unless other places in the chart say otherwise. You are going to want him/her to slow down, but you also might like they are so active. This kid might also not want to eat all the time, either. There is a nervous energy. They’d rather play than eat. The kid is probably talkative and outgoing; they have many playmates around the neighborhood. “Gift of the gab”. I’d imagine the child could either be a stellar student, or have problems concentrating.
Aries Moon, Cancer rising - Expect the kid to be a little more quiet at school, even if they are loud and proud at home. Don’t be surprised if the teacher says the child is quiet and passive. But this also depends on rest of the chart too. The Cancer rising definitely lessens the blows of having an Aries Moon, but there  could be a Moon-Asc square going on in the chart. That just shows that the emotional nature and authority figures ( 10H for kids ) could be at odds. Perhaps the kid felt like he/she could not show the feelings of Aries rising without being reprimanded by some sort of authority figure.
The child appears nice and soft. Boys come off as kind and helpful. They like to be help around the classroom and house. With the Cancer rising and Aries moon, there might be bouts of moodiness and defensiveness. If you disagree with the child, they will fight back in a very emotional, fiery way. There could be issues with authority figures, like the mom or dad when the child actually does want to exert his/her independence, or maybe the parent wanted to force independence on the child. ( When I mean independence, I don’t mean leaving the house. I’m talking about things like choosing own clothes, riding your bike wherever you want, choosing what you wear on a day to day basis, doing things without parental help etc etc ). The child is somewhat of a paradox: fiery, yet sensitive and comforting. Individualistic, yet introverted and sensitive. Defensive, yet caring and helpful.
Aries Moon, Leo rising — Expect this to probably be a loud child. This is a child that probably likes to show off to some degree. There could be sports, theatre, modeling, art or music involvement. The child likes and craves praise. He/she likes to do a job well done. This child is quite popular and outgoing. He/she has many friends around the neighborhood. There is a charm to the child that is not missable. They like to be a “star” in whatever they choose to hobby in-whether it’s sports, modeling or putting on plays.
Sometimes it may seem the child likes to be the center of attention. They can be dramatic when they do not get what they want; combined with a fiery nature and temper tantrums. ALL kids throw fits, but some throw fits more than others.
Aries Moon, Virgo rising - Expect these kids to be more on the quiet side. Virgo and Aries are quincunx, which means they do not understand each other at all. It may seem like the child’s personality at school doesn’t always match what you see at home. The child may come off as neat and perfectionistic. You never have to worry about him or her not doing homework. You may or may not have to nag him/her to clean up after him/herself.
The emotional nature is, of course, fiery, impatient, and brave. The personality is meticulous, perfectionistic and analytical. The child can be of brave quality. There will be a love of adventures, but these will be adventures where the child can learn and analyze. Learning adventures.
Aries Moon, Libra rising - The emotional nature and personality are at odds. The outer personality is charming, sociable and fair. The Moon has its impatient tendencies and ca be blunt at times. Libra is diplomatic; Aries just says what it wants. The child does have more diplomacy than most Aries Moon kids. There is a gift of the gab, and the child is probably very popular at school.
The assertiveness and bravery of Aries Moon combined with sociability and fairness of Libra rising can produce positive results. You can still expect the child to be impatient and less diplomatic at home, as that is where the Moon expresses itself easily.
Aries Moon, Scorpio rising - You might think the child knows everything about you or sees right through you. He or she is more quiet than what the Moon sign would suggest, but they can come off as intuitive and somewhat of loners. You might be surprised of what this child says; of what they think. Scorpio and Aries produces an interesting combination; but sometimes anger might be kept inside and then it explodes inappropriately esp when at school.
The child is probably not manipulative. At home, the child is usually direct with what they think and usually wants to be left alone to do their own thing.
Aries Moon, Sagittarius rising - This kid could say some mean, blunt things, but not really mean to hurt anyone’s feelings. You might hear things like “They are fat” or “I don’t wanna be friends with her. I don’t like her” right in front of said children. You will need to tell this child to sometimes keep thoughts to himself or herself because saying certain things are inappropriate.
The child is probably active and talkative. Could be into sports. Sometimes may have hyperactive tendencies. Usually curious, asks quite a bit of questions, and sometimes throws bad temper tantrums.
Aries Moon, Capricorn rising - This child has a more serious nature especially when at school. He or she is probably quiet and studious. This is a child you do not necessarily worry about getting into trouble at school. With Capricorn rising, sometimes people think the kid is older than what they really are.
It’s easy for the child to start new things. They are not procrastinators. They respond well to structure and routine. It is likely they could be into sports, especially organized ones. If they aren’t into sports, they usually don’t question your authority until they get older and can think for themselves. There is still that anger and tantrums associated with Aries, but it is more controlled.
Aries Moon, Aquarius rising - These kids are the true pioneers. They like to go on all sorts of adventures. Sometimes you have to tell them “no” on their adventures but only out of their own safety. They are often “too nice” to strangers and you sometimes have to tell them that some people are bad! There could be a rebellious streak in the kids; combined with both Aries and Aquarius as main forms of personality. There could be angry outbursts when they are not allowed to do as they choose. Aquarius is very freedom loving.
You probably have to nag him or her to clean their room or do boring chores that they seem to think they are too smart or too high up to do. This kid would rather be doing their own thing than having you tell them what to do. If you tell him or her they can’t do something it just means they will want to do it more and shock you.
Aries Moon, Pisces rising - These kids come off as gentle and kind at first, but do not be fooled. While they may be quiet at school, at home they may be loud, impatient and assertive. There may also be a creative bent- these kids may like to draw or make music. With the Aries influence, they’re more likely to start instead of dreaming it all up.
They’re freedom loving and adventurous, but also are kind to other kids and do not like confrontation all the time… unless it’s needed. However, if you are the parent, they may say exactly what they want to YOU because they feel the most comfortable towards you.

New for 2012: "Little Kid Interpretations"

You might wonder what “Little Kid Interpretations” are. Well, remember my “Rising Sign Fun” I had a year ago. This will be similar.
Basically, this will be a basic interpretation of general personality in children. The Moon sign is said to be an important placement in a baby, toddler, or child’s chart. No doubt is the rising sign important as well. Obviously we will have the Leo moon child who is loud and proud at home, but with a quiet and meticulous Virgo rising.
All placements in the chart are important in determining specific features of a child’s personality. But this will be basic basic basic! You must always look at house placements and aspects too. And reading a child’s placements are read differently than an adults.
How does a child express Venus? First and foremost, it’s through creativity. But I’m going with the Moon sign as prominent and then the rising sign and how it modifies the Moon personality.
So I’ll start with Aries Moon and then go through the rising signs, and have the combinations.
You can read this about yourself for when you were a kid, or your child, or your niece/nephew, or your favorite student ( if you work as a teacher, or work with children in general ).
Ill be writing the first tonight or tomorrow. :-)
Looking forward to this new series.
Eventually I also do plan on writing the third installment of the Pluto in Scorpio generation blog series. I just need to get my thoughts together.

Pluto in Scorpio: The "Lost" Generation Part 2

In my previous post I talked about our generation and general feelings/attitudes towards sex/virginity/sexual images. I am sure some people could read this and be like, “Well what she said can apply to all generations. Women have always been seen as sexual objects. Not just now.” I am not sure if anyone saw the one paragraph I wrote about media images depicting women. Anyway, yeah, whoever says that and thinks that is right; women have always been seen as sexual objects now and in the past. However, the way women are perceived in culture does change. I talked about the pimp/ho ( but I also didn’t mention druck party chick  either, but I think that is an image ), but in the 1950s a woman might have been dressed pretty and in the kitchen. Even if she was dressed sexily it was not scantily clad. What I was discussing is the images that we are shown and how they become more “liberal.”
Now I’m going to talk about other issues facing our generation.
My topic today is education.
Does it seem like everyone goes to college? Prior to the Pluto in Libra people, you did not really need to go to college to get a good job. You could graduate college, get a job in retail or a factory, and work your way up. If you stay long enough, you could get in management positions and make good money. More than likely, you were in a union too. ( I am not saying there aren’t any bad things about unions, like being forced to join one when you’d rather not, but unions do good things for workers most of the time )
Now it seems like everyone is at college in some form. ( There is also a rise of these for profit institutions. You’ve probably seen them in between Jerry Springer re-runs. These are places like DeVry, Remington, Sandford-Brown, Brown-Mackie, etc etc. These places target low income people and give them loans, but they do not give them what they really need… a Pell Grant, which regular colleges do give ). I’m in college. I am in my 4th year and still have some ways to go, although I am nearly done. I have 27 credit hours to go.
As we all know, it ain’t cheap. Many of us are in some kind of debt, whether it’s a little debt or a lot of debt, because we want to get an education, so we can all get good jobs. That’s what it is. Very few people go to college for the sheer love of learning. It’s far to expensive for that. People go to get good jobs and you are not guanteed a job if you go. You just have more opportunities.
I like academia. My only complaint is that it costs too much and there isn’t enough grants to give to qualified, intelligent low income people. But I also think middle class people shouldn’t have to get themselves 25,000 dollars in debt to go to school. Often, it can take 20 years to pay off your student debt.
Some people do not think low income people should go to college. I say if you have good grades, have a desire to learn and better yourself, go! But make sure you go into something you can get a job in. Its extremely competitive. And honestly most low income people don’t go to college because they were not raised to believe in education. And the ones that do go… they go to for profit colleges, like the ones I listed earlier.
Pell grants used to cover most expenses for low income people entering a public university. Middle class people only had a small amount of student debt, if any at all. Poor people who are qualified and intelligent are stuck going to community colleges, or getting themselves into enormous debt like middle class people. If you’re in the upper middle class, you’re lucky enough to have a small amount of debt, because perhaps your parents can pay for some of your education.
The problem for poor people isn’t necessarily Pell Grants. It’s the raising cost of tuition and the extreme cuts of state aid. In Ohio, you used to get an extra 2000 dollars if you were poor but that has been slashed. And  the word “Slashed” is a good word to use. We are now in Pluto in Capricorn; now, we will see the corruption of big business, government officials and the rich ( not all rich people, just some of the 1% ). These people have always been corrupt. Pluto in Capricorn will just bring all of this to light and make the general public aware of this fact.
A conflict theory sociology person might say the upper classes want the poor out of education, thus making it harder for them to make it. And most people growing up in poverty just want to make it to the middle class, just be like everyone else! A conflict theory person will say that the super rich need there to be a “super poor.” If you’re super poor in the USA, you’re probably on SSI with a few kids, Food Stamps, no car, and you probably wear sweat pants and t-shirts all the time since you can’t afford anything else. Obviously the poor here don’t have it as bad as in Sudan, just to name one country. At least if they feel resilient they can go to community college and do something, although it won’t be as great as going to a university.
Okay, I’m not going into my discussion about being poor and being rich. That has nothing to do with astrology. Really, this doesn’t have to do with astrology, but it does pertain to the Pluto in Scorpio generation.
If you keep the poor from succeeding, then it’s easier for you to get richer. And keeping the poor from succeeding means keeping them out of academia. And at the same time slashing the middle class and making these people get into even more debt as if they aren’t in enough debt already. This is keeping the middle class as “Indentured Servants.” They have so much debt and so much to worry about, they can’t bother with abstract thought and actually do something ( like start something like OWS or Tea Party ). This is to keep them unaware, while at the same time kicking more people out of the middle class so the poor people pool gets larger and larger.
Anyway, aside from higher education, even secondary and primary education has seen slashes. At my high school, when I was in high school, our funds for the high school were cut ( Pluto in Scorpio kids ) so we could have high end tech for new elementary schools ( Pluto in Sag kids ). Our high school could not pass a levy for years. No one wanted to pay a little more taxes to help the kids out. I’m not in high school anymore, but from what I know from the kids now is that extracurricular activities are soo expensive. It used to be 75 to be in multiple activities when I went ( prior to 2008 ) but now it can cost up to 1000 dollars to be in multiple. That might just be a thing of the times with it being Pluto in Capricorn. Educational funds from government are being slashed, especially in Ohio. The governor of Ohio is not very popular. I don’t think he will be re-elected.
Standardized tests became more and more prevalent for our generation as we got older. It might be worse for the Pluto in Sag kids, because all their learning is centered around a dumb test. That’s where all the funding is going to. It might be used to force kids what legislators want them to learn. It keeps these kids ( Pluto in Sag in high school and middle school ) from abstract thought, free-thinking and creativity. It keeps them in a dumb little box where they won’t question anything.
So I do see some of these issues playing out with the younger Pluto in Sag generation. Like I said before, our issues become their issues, but in different ways.
Secondary education seems worse now than when I went. It was still rigid and creativity killing then too, but it seems like it is getting worse. Teachers should be able to teach what they want to teach.
/endrant.
Part 3 is the final one and will be about work/careers/politics.

Pluto in Scorpio: The "Lost" Generation Part 1

  • Pluto in Scorpio: The "Lost" Generation ( pt 1 )
I myself am a 23 yr old member of the notorious Pluto in Scorpio generation, as are my cousin, sister, best friends, boyfriend, and almost all of my acquaintances. Amont many other people. The Pluto in Scorpio generation is approximately from 1984 to 1996. Pluto in Sagittarius began in 1996, so some of the kids born that year are Pluto in Scorpio and others are Pluto in Sag, although I am sure there are some overlapping. ( Kind of like the idea of the cusps. My younger cousins who are in their mid-teens are early Pluto in Sag, but they still hold some qualities of Pluto in Scorpio, as these things are being passed down. )
Basically, those of us in the Pluto in Scorpio generation range from angsty high school upperclassmen to college students to grad students to even young professionals beginning their careers ( with a shit load of student debt of course!!! ) . Some of us are parents; others are still in high school and those like me are still in college.
When we were being born, people were beginning to realize the perils of AIDS and other STDs. Sex education was beginning to appear in school in larger numbers and if not, people were rallying for it. People were beginning to realize that even sex could lead to death. Pluto in Scorpio generation had Ronald Reagan, George Bush Sr, and Bill Clinton as U.S. presidents during that time.
Who are the Pluto in Scorpio generation? There is a stereotype that we’reobsessed with sex. To a small extent ( and I emphasize small ) that is true. Our generation is known as “hooking up”, player culture, and an extreme sexualization of young adults, teens and children. It is mostly our generation being highly aware of our sexuality and the impact we have on other people. Although there have always been homosexuals and there are certainly homosexuals with their coming out stories from Pluto in Cancer or Pluto in Leo generation, Pluto in Scorpio generation ( also with help from the initiation from Pluto in Libra and fairness in marriage; wanting gays to marry ) are the ones who are trying to be more accepting of gays and lesbians. Many many college students ( most of whom are Pluto in Scorp ) join LGBT organizations and help rally support for their cause. I have also noticed many many young women from my generation being aware of the impact the media has on their sexuality and body image. They know it is not right. Also, we see the impact of rape and how it is important to seek help.
Sex sells. And it does. The more scantily clad a woman can be, the more money “they” make. These aren’t Pluto in Scorpio people making these porn movies, or ads, but these ads directly affect the Pluto in Scorpio generation. We were the ones watching these music videos, ads and TV shows all these years. All this shit is being passed down to the Pluto in Sag generation, who may process these images differently.
I think many people in my generation have been confused about sexuality. Many women in my generation ( but not exclusively ) have been taught that being beautiful is linked to sexual power. All we want is to have a man and we are taught be be seductive and sexy. ( We can’t be too sexy though, because then we’re a slut ). Men are often taught that they must be “men” and have many women around them. ( but that’s an age-old teaching, though, not just in our generation ). However, this issue is more pornified. Music videos often show “pimps” or “cool dudes” ( lol sorry ) with all these scantily clad women. Okay, in the 1950s, there might have been a well dressed man with a couple well dressed women in beautiful dresses. It has the same meaning, but the images are different. The images now show women in a less dignified manner. Images from the 1950s were just as sexist, but at least the women weren’t exactly reduced to their boobs and butt. They might have been in the kitchen or something, but they weren’t being gang raped.
Obviously these are just images. Yes, some people do read too much into them, but at the same time, people do internalize these messages. Maybe not on a conscious level.
In our generation, I have also taken of note is purity rings and this “cult of virginity” along with hypersexualization and hook up culture. “Cult of virginity” is basically making virginity out to be something mystical. If you lose it, you’re a slut. No matter if you really give a damn about the guy ( or girl ). You’re first time is often has to be “perfect” and preferably when you’re married. ( Never happens. ) First times are never perfect and there is nothing mystical about virginity. You have it, you lose it and you experience your sexuality.
With these two forces, it is not a surprise to me how confused some people can be. A lot of people get themselves into trouble. Other people are stuck in this virginity idea and they might want to have sex, but they do not want to disappoint religious leaders or their parents. Or anyone else telling them to keep it. And then there are the people who rush into sex and then are heartbroken, and the ones who may hook up and feel empty on the inside.
I think the messages given to my generation are fucked up. Especially with the the hypersexualization and that purity idea at the same time. How can someone comprehend the idea that they are sexual beings, but are bombarded with overtly sexual imagery and then told that if they have sex then they are a slut?
I have also taken note of “Empowered Sexualization.” That is when women ( and men, but mostly women ) go into porn industry or even prostitution and say they can do this because they can and it’s what they want to do. Other people see this as degrading and not really loving your body. I think my generation is 50/50 on this issue.
Sexting has been a new thing with my generation. That is a dumb new thing that the news media likes to talk about. The news media also likes to talk about young people’s sexuality a lot, as if it is their business. I know it’s to warn parents, but still. Naked pictures are typically talked about also, although only 1% actually have sent them out and got caught. Most young people aren’t stupid enough.
“Teen Mom” is a show that has Pluto in Scorpio gals in it. In 2007, I believe, the teen pregnancy rate increased, but from what I read recently, it has gone down a little. 2006-2008 were probably the highs, and that was Pluto in Scorpio gals ( mostly ). I think “Teen Mom” is self explanatory. I’ve watched it a few times, but I can not bring myself to watch it whenever it’s on.
Lasting note: Another thing I have noticed is how younger people are having sex younger and younger. This is a trend and does not represent every person. In fact, did you know that the average age of losing the V-card is 15 for girls? ( 16 for boys ). Why higher for girls than boys, when before it was boys before girls? When I was in 9th grade, it didn’t seem like sex was everywhere for our age. We all knew the older kids were doing it and some people are age were, but it was not like everyone was. From what I hear from my 9th grade cousin nowadays, she acts like there are a lot of “sluts” in her school. Even when I was a senior in high school and the vast majority of kids in my grade were having sex, I was astonished when I heard of the STD’s going around in the 8th grade! And kids in my grade made fun of those 8th graders, because “many of us weren’t sexually active at that age.”
Obviously there are still the person who gets raped at 10, and then the person who loses their virginity at 25. But I think as a trend it’s happening earlier. Should 14 year olds be having sex? Should you not at least be 16/17? Can 13/14 year olds handle the emotions that come with having sex? And the hormonal changes? And what can come out of having sex ( a baby! )?
Summing up: I’m sorry this was such a long post, but sexuality has been very great with our generation. Both the good and the bad. Do not get me wrong; it isn’t all bad. I think that we are the ones trying to get rid of the negative connotation with sex ( SLUT WALK? ) as sex is natural? And gays and lesbians in our generation feel safer to come out, although there are still some risks. But there are the bad; negative sexual images in the media and that weird slut/pure thing going on with women.
I’m going to write more later on in the week on OTHER issues facing our generation. Happy Holidays!!

Sagittarius vs: Aquarius ( long post )

I am not sure about all of you, but when reading on the signs, there are a few similarities between Aquarius and Sagittarius. One thing I came cross between the two is truth. Both are said to be seekers of truth. What does “truth” mean? I’ve seen people debate what truth really is; objective verses subjective truth. And we can also make the argument that honesty and the Truth are not the same.

In my personal opinion, I do not think honesty and the truth are not always equal. Yes, in some instances they are, but honesty is mostly a subjective thing. Like the word “fat” means differently to different people. One person might think of fat as an objective matter, as to how much body fat % you have in your body. Another person might think anyone above a size 4 is fat, because that is their personal values and what they were forced to believe.

At any rate, I do not think there is a Universal Truth that we know about now. IF there is a Universal Truth, we will not know in our lifetime. The Universal Truth is not religious, but related to SCIENCE! The Universal Truth is why we are here as life forms, how the universe was created, and how things came to be. We have theories on this ( and books that are thousands of years old do not count as evidence ) and that is what we have now.

There are many people who say they are seeking the truth, and seeking the truth is a pleasure to these people. Atheists and God fearing people alike. Skeptics and astrologers alike. Naturalists and spiritualists alike. Seeking the truth and what type of truth is typically different to two people.

Take astrology; the signs of Sagittarius and Aquarius, both associated with seeking the truth. Aquarius saying is “I know” and Sagittarius saying is “I seek.” We can go on about the Aquarius dogma, even though they are said to hate dogma, but they do create their own. I’m not going into that, because this post is not all about dogma.

    Aquarius:

Aquarius truth is mostly based upon objective things, like science, evidence and facts. Honestly, I see many Aquarius influenced people as skeptics in astrology. ( Often they have Cap placements also ). Aquarius seeks the truth by what it can see; but also by abstract thinking. It takes a higher mind to think about our place in the world. Aquarius is also about humankind; therefore, an Aquarius wants to see his/her place in the universe and may see how we simply do not matter. Aquarius treats every human being the same ( where as Leo wants special privileges as an individual ). Human beings are often seen as insignificant when it comes to the entire universe.

Aquarius is the archetypical “Thinker.” The “Innovator.” The “Engineer.” The “Futurist.” Aquarius is also associated both with progressivism and conservatism when it comes to politics.

The truth is as it is, based upon findings of science and research. We know what our mind can figure out.

Aquarius is said to think past old dogmas and old thinking styles. Organized religion can be one of them. I often think of Aquarius as the sign of the Atheist/Agnostic, or even a Deist ( which is a Theist/person who believes in a god, but thinks the god does not care what people do. It is only interested in what is happening in the universe. ) Aquarius is about freedom of thought; free thinking.

Another complex idea about Aquarius I want to point out is groupthink. Groupthink is when a group of people come to the conclusion, usually a wrong one, when one person tells them it’s the right way to go. Since everyone in the group agrees, you must also. Aquarius is all about the individual and free thinking, but sometimes it also focuses on the group/organization and groupthink. Interesting thought.

One idea about  Pluto in Aquarius ( 2024-to sometime 2040’s? ) is that there may be a lot of groupthink ( a bad thing about Aquarius ) instead of free thinking. But who knows? Maybe there will be more scientific pursuits, but these pursuits might hurt people or put the human race in danger ( Pluto ). Also, dont forget about corruption of organizations or even progressive groups. I’m going to write something on Pluto in Aquarius later on, so I’m keeping my thoughts to myself.

    Sagittarius:

Sagittarius is the hallmark “Seeker of the Truth.” In fact when you look in the sky the Sag constellation is pointing to the center of the galaxy. ( Where there could be a black hole )

While Sagittarius can be objective and base their truth on evidence and facts, some are more subjective. These subjective ones base their truth on faith and philosophy. Sagittarius is associated with religion, while Pisces is associated with spirituality.

Sometimes Sagittarius can run their mouth without knowing the facts ( something Aquarius does not have a problem with ), but Sagittarius has an innate intuition and often hunches can be right. Sagittarius may think about possibilities, what if scenarios, and moral dilemmas. That is why Sagittarius is the Philosopher.

Sagittarius seeks the truth by educating himself/herself, philosophizing, learning from mentors, reading books, observing, intuition and sometimes religious books.

This is not to say the two can not overlap. Aquarius truth and Sag truth, in my opinion, should be equally valued. We need someone to do evidence based research and state what research shows, but we also need those people who just see what’s up and educate themselves on issues. We need both Philosophers and Thinkers, and you can be both, or you can be one or the other. You can be intuitive or logical, or both, or one or the other.

    Summing it up:

    Aquarius truth:

    Logical

    Evidence based

    Thinkers

    Skeptics

    Open minded

    Sagittarius truth:

Can be logical, but also can be intuitive

Observation based, but can be based upon perception of individual

    Broad minded

    Liking possibilities

    Philosophy based

    Synastry- Moon Saturn

Have you ever been in a relationship where the person seemed distant and almost more interested in their duties than you? Or perhaps you were in a situation when you were accused of being distant, when in fact that is how you really are?

Moon-Saturn is never a death sentence of a relationship, but these can be challenging. In fact, Moon-Saturn can be a binding force of a relationship. It can be commitment from the start. A serious relationship. The two people feel stable with each other.

Moon-Saturn conj, squares, and oppositions can indicate that there are more frustrations, but the two see each other as a stable force. Often there might be “on off” arrangements, and the two really realize how much they “need” each other for stability. Certainly the two can love each other very much. The Moon has his/her needs and if Saturn isn’t delivering them, he/she can feel abandoned, neglected or avoided. Saturn may not always pick up on these cues, or may be too busy. Saturn may seem to be more interested in his/her duties and job.

Saturn does not want the Moon to be needy. There may be situations when the Moon person is afraid to express his/her needs out of fear of disapproval from his/her Saturn partner.

Especially with the opposition there are going to be times the the couple are feeling warm, generous and affectionate, and then boom! Other times when the Saturn person is being distant and standoffish.

The square is going to indicate the most tension and frustration and likely the Moon person is not going to feel “loved”. The conjunction can really go either way, but it can be a binding stable force in a relationship.

There needs to be good communication with these. The Moon needs to speak up and The Saturn needs to listen.

The trines and sextiles can have their moments when the Moon might not feel like his/her needs are not being met. ( Many people regardless have those feelings ). However, this will most likely manifest in a way that is not so frustrating. The Saturn person is most likely to be a positive committing force to the Moon. The Moon will see Saturn as reliable, and Saturn will see the Moon as very loving. The Saturn person also supports the Moon in whatever he/she wants to do. Saturn helps the Moon and gives the Moon what he/she needs… most of the time.

    Personal: Solar Return Year

My birthday was last week on November 29th. As some of you already know, a solar return period is what you expect for a given year. The year lasts from your birthday to your next birthday. Take for example my birthday. My solar return lasts from 11-29-2011 to 11-29-2012.
Last year a major theme in my chart was the 5th house. As many of you know about astrology, there are many meanings to the 5th house as astrology can manifest in many ways. The 5th house can be about children, or creativity, or love. I did not have children, nor was I super creative. I only wrote one book. I tried to write, but it wasn't coming easily to me. I started a new relationship last year with planets in my 5th house ( NN, Sun, Venus, Pluto ). With Pluto there, it has not been a superficial relationship.
This year is going to be a little different.
    First things first...
    1. Solar Return Asc in Libra. ( Natal Pisces ). According to this, I'm more likely to be sociable this year. I'm not going to lie; I for sure have my doubts. Perhaps I will be more outgoing, but I will never be a social butterfly. Or perhaps I will like how I look more, or try new styles of clothing.
    2. Solar Return Moon in Aquarius, 4th house. ( Natal Leo, 6th house ). Since I have my natal in Leo at 21 degrees, I have a very weak opposition to my solar return moon. With Solar Return Moon in Aquarius, you have a year that is more objective and less emotions oriented. However, there may be more of a need to find the truth ( Aquarian truth different than Sag truth ). Science matters might be interesting this year. I might want to try new things and be connected to humanity in some way. Emotional issues that bothered me this past year might not bother me so much this year. However, the Moon falls into the 4th house. Aquarius and the 4th house of family, roots, pregnancy, nurturing do NOT mix. Why so? With Moon in the 4th house, these Aquarian energies are concentrated here. Will it be a sensitive year? Will I move again?
    3. Solar return sun in the 2nd house ( Natal 9th house ). The sun is a very general theme of the solar return chart. What I mean to say is that it is the general theme of the year when you look at it. In this case my general theme is acquiring possessions, buying things, making money, etc. I probably will want to make myself financially stable, or it will be extremely important to be financially stable. A good time to spend money on something valuable, but not squander money. I should show some discretion. Also, self esteem and worth will  be an important factor to the year. So, yes money and self worth will go hand in hand this year.

** I have noticed a 2nd house trend since 2009 though. Money has been of importance. This also showed in last year's solar return chart with another planet there, also in my progressions and transits since 2009.
    4.  Sagittarius North Node in the 2nd house ( Natal 12th house ). Quit worrying about other people's money. Go out and make your own. Acquire your own goods. Develop self worth. Higher Education will  be an effect of self worth.

    5. Sag Mercury in the 3rd house ( Sag Mercury 9H natal ). Learning energies will be broad minded and tolerant, as well as wanting to analyze and expand upon ideas. That in itself is an easy thing for me to do since I have Sag Mercury 9H natally. I love writing 10-15 page papers. I love picking a topic and analyzing it as well as expanding upon the idea. I love picking my own research topics. The 3rd house is all about the details, minute analysis, facts, figures, left brained. Writing will be important in the coming year, but with a fun Sag flair. This Sag Mercury will need to get used to facts, details, and evidence analysis. Makes sense  because its crunch time and I will finally be a college senior. Should be a good academic year, however. I definitely need a good academic year.
    6. Capricorn Venus in the 3rd house ( Scorpio Venus 8th house natally ). Love wise, this year will build commitment, loyalty, and I should be more cautious. I should also not be wishy washy or gushy, or get my hopes up. I will need to be more realistic concerning love. In the 3rd house, this will manifest in education, learning, writing, siblings, travel, etc. I will have a love of learning,  I will be loyal to what I am learning, I will love to write, I will love to make short trips. Good year for education if I work hard.
    7. Capricorn Pluto in the 3rd house ( Scorpio 8H natal ). Pluto in the 3H is usually indicative of a communication style that is intense, direct and sometimes brutal. Other people may not like what I have to say, or maybe they do because I come off as so cool. I don't know. I will take on some interesting short trips that might change the way I think. This year is supposed to change the way I think, the way I approach learning and academics, or perhaps I will take these more seriously. Not take education for granted.
    8. Solar Return Neptune in the 5th house ( Natal 10H ). This is a year where I might be more romantic and idealistic. This can be good and bad. I might show heightened sensitivities to my boyfriend. He may enjoy it. On the negative side, I might become delusional when it comes to my romance. Might idealize my boyfriend into what he is not. I will need to have a clear image of what he really is in my mind. I can not self decieve myself. In severe and extreme cases, this indicates cheating, because one person is not happy and is self deluded. It could be the native or the partner.
    9. Solar Return Taurus Jupiter in the 7th house. ( Natal Gemini/2H ) If Jupiter is said to be in a mutable sign, there is an indication of moving on in a relationship since mutable signs are dual oriented. Not always though. Mine is in a fixed sign of Taurus; Like Scorpio, Taurus can be possessive, but they are loyal and stick it through. Jupiter in the 7H is indicative of good fortune in new business partnerships, romantic relationships and it is even indicative of marriage! ( Although I am not getting married this year LOL ). In my case, I hope that I have favorable connections between me and my boyfriend.
    10. Solar Return Virgo Mars in the 11th house ( Natal Aries/1st house ). Although it's easy for me to show frustration and anger on an everyday basis, this year I hopefully cool down a lot. In negative cases, Virgo Mars might indicate a restless, nervous energy. My anxiety could get worse in the coming year. In the 11th house this manfiests in friends and networks. Maybe I will be forced to join an organization and meet new people.
    11. Solar Return Saturn in the 1st house ( Natal 10th house ). This is a year I will need to be more responsible. It is a year that I will mature. I will need to show discretion and have self control. This is directly opposed to my Jupiter in the 7th house. Self discretion and control verses demands of others?
A few notable aspects in the chart: ( Not ALL the aspects. Just ones that caught my eye )
Mars/11H square Sun/2H: Mars square Sun is usually indicative of your ego feeling conflicted. You might show anger and frustration. In Virgo, I might not express this out loud. It might manifest in anxiety and control. With houses concentrated, an organization might exert some form negative self image onto myself, but I will need to be resilient. I have an idea of what this might be.
Sun/2H trine Uranus/6H: I will want to be more independent. I will unlikely enjoy the restrictions placed upon me in my current job. Honestly, I want to find a new job now, and perhaps that will be the case with Uranus in the 6H.
Neptune in the 5H is positively making aspects to Jupiter and Saturn, which are in houses of 7 and 1 respectively. This is an indication of perhaps idealism concerning all areas, but not self deception. If there are problems in romance and love, these can be worked out. Benefit of the doubt given. ( BF and I have synastry aspects that are good, and a decent composite chart. ).
Neptune making negative aspect to Sun in the 2H. Romance/idealism in conflict with ego/self worth.
Jupiter-Saturn in houses 1-7: Need to keep a good relationship and think of others, but also balance the needs of myself and show maturity. I could have issues with problems of over consumption and then self denial of certain goods. Moderation will need to be exercised this year, even if its hard. Balance the two. Personal limits might be hard to be seen, but they will be seen.

    In General:
A main theme in the chart is the 2nd house, of money and self worth as well as values.

Another main theme is the 3H. This year my way of thinking may be changed or altered to some degree. School and academics should go fine this year. I might pick up on writing again.
